Hi, Jolene...I think that's why I don't use certain tools; I don't want some calculator to tell me how much to do or eat. I just use my own personal gauge and try to exercise daily now, and just eat sensibly. I've cut out the fast food and the snack food (I should say chips, cookies and like that!) and have replaced it with fresh vegetables and fruit, and use less carbs and fat. Nothing special, no specific "low fat" or "low sugar" foods, just less over all.
Good luck, and keep on using what works for you!

Do not think of today's failures, but of the success that may come tomorrow. You will succeed if you persevere: and you will find a joy in overcoming obstacles. Remember, no effort that we make to attain something beautiful is ever lost.

JUST FOR TODAY, I will live through this day only. I will not brood about yesterday or obsess about tomorrow

No, but thanks for the tip! I have just put in the tiny bit of strength and cardio I am doing now (only two weeks into my new healthy plan)... glad I didn't put my goals in.

Hi again everyone....I have had a "set-back" but nothing that will keep me from going forward. Here I had been complaining about having to eat too much food the last couple of weeks. Well, here is my DUH moment. My husband and I were so confused on why I had not lost anything my first week and why I should be having to eat soooo much when all of a sudden I got an idea to look at what I had signed up for under the exercising page. I had myself signed up for several things not realizing it had ANYthing to do with the menus. After taking off all of the strength and cardio I then looked at my menu goals and saw that it was reduced from a minimum of over 1600 calories a day to just over 1300. Talk about being on a learning curve. I had signed up for things I was hoping to build up to, not that I was able to do on a daily basis. Anybody else want to let me know if they had this "brain-fart" also???
