I will not weigh myself until Jan 1, and take measurements. I know I lost weight because my clothes are getting, when I started doing my own journal Jan 2017 I weighed 196.8 I weighed myself Dec 26 (team challenge weigh in) and I weighed 184.6 I lost 12.2 lbs this year. Makes me very happy.

My goal for this upcoming year is to be more organized and set a schedule for my exercise so it isn't so nitty gritty. Try to keep to a schedule so I can get everything done that I need to and also have me time.

Doing emoticon !! I don't know exactly how much weight I've lost in this time frame... I'll have to look it up (I've been trying to keep a log of my weight and measurements) but I know I met the goal!!

I'm in a size 16 pants, and I was in a size 24 back in May!! I'm down to an XL or 1XL shirt (depending on brand and how form fitting I want it to be) and I need to go get fitted to figure out what size bra I should be wearing now, lol.

That is awesome! And from your blog EO4WELLNESS you are doing awesome too! I wish I could join in the awesomeness, but I'm in recovery time, and it is going to take at least 5 more weeks before I can begin working out again. Needless to say I am stalled at 185, but that number was my next major goal, so I'm happy to be here! My goal now is to not gain any weight while I can't work out!!!

I have been sticking to my exercise plan, ST every other day, cardio 5-6 times a week.
some are Cassey's exercises and some other's exercise plans. But I am doing it that's what counts.

Week one complete, followed my plan pretty close which makes me feel really good.

Goals for next week (12/8-12/14) = Continue wit the 21 day arm challenge, following their schedule, lower body and core 3X's a week, cardio min 5 times a week. 1 rest day.

Stay 1250-1450 calories, try and burn 200-500 exercise calories a day.

I did my ST and Cardio today, so far been sticking well to my exercise goals. Today was Bible study and then had lunch with friends. Friday going to my first holiday party. It is an open house so we won't have to stay long, will try and resist snacks but will have a glass of wine.

I made some goals for Dec to stay on track and not over eat. I set up my exercise schedule, I do did like her arm exercises and I can do those. So my plan is to not gain, and possibly lose.

How are all of you doing? I had a month-long event I've been a part of and it is over now. It really took my full attention. During those periods of time when things are beyond ordinary busy, I always switch to "maintenance mode" instead of over doing it. While I'm really sleep deprived, and working on restoring good sleeping habits again, I'm so happy how the event went. I didn't gain a bunch of weight. I did see a loss in lean muscle mass. I did not pop back up into the "next" category beyond where I am at, health status wise. I can live with that. Working now to push forward to the next fitness level, taking measurements, making a precise plan, and working it!

So far doing ok, need to watch carbs, they are all within level but on the high side. Getting in my water. Not losing a lot of weight but not gaining, tomorrow is weigh day, will see how I am doing in that court. I have lost inches. So I have no complaints.

When I want to snack in the evening, First I do 20 minutes on my stationary bike and then don't feel like snacking. I am down 2 pound for doing this.

I do try to eat healthy snack at night and tracking my calories helps, I sometimes put my snack calories in so I know how much to eat the rest of the day. I usually have the same type of snack and calories range from 100-150.

It has to be hard getting up and not snacking. It is almost like we have to train our self to not snack every time we are in the kitchen. I hope you get day and night back in the right order. I am trying to save a snack for those times and see if that works.I would rather not eat anything because one thing leads to an other. Maybe my water bottle left on the counter would work, that way I wouldn't see food.

Night snacking has been a problem for me too. My puppy gets me up to go potty in the middle of the night and I end up feeling hungry. Not good. But I'm not eating much during the day, so I think I have my nights and days mixed up because of getting up at least 2 times during the night. Hopefully her bladder will grow soon and she can hold it longer.

Good morning everyone, I am new to this team and I am up for the challenge. I have been speed walking at least 3 miles every morning and doing pilates and yoga in the evening. Thanks @EO4WELLNESS, I have my puppy now, so taking care of both of us and making sure that our family dog doesn't feel left out.

I feel like my knee will be well enough to at least start walking slowly this week, we'll see what ortho says on Tuesday.

Hope you didn't overdo it too much and got lots of stretching in so it won't have any ill effects.

I'm so excited for when my knee heals and I can start really get into working out and getting the body that I want.

So over did it today. The weather was so LOVELY I just had to go swimming. Before I knew it, I did tons of swimming (laps) all kinds of water aerobics and various strength training workouts, and even treading water for way too long--burned a ton of calories. Thankfully, I did not get sun burned--but I'm certain I did so much I'll likely be feeling it tomorrow.

Way to go on the pound a day!! That is fantastic! And on the steps, I reached my step goal the other day (finally) and my fitbit made little fireworks on the screen display for me, LOL, have never seen that since I got it, so super happy.

My knee buckled on me early this AM. I'm supposed to be able to put full weight on it, but when I did last night it gave way. Luckily for me I was still using crutches and caught myself. I hope all is healing as it should. I really want to stay on track and start walking again after my follow up next Tuesday.

Way to go! I dropped a pound a day for a few days and then stalled again. I'm happy for the weight loss. I know I can do maintenance--I'm so good at it (lol, even when I'm not trying to maintain)

Had a busy day. When ever I had to wait on someone else to accomplish my purpose, I walked and walked and walked. Did some sprinting and walk-running too. I was SHOCKED at the end of the day what it had added up to! Wowzers!

Sticking to my water and fiber. No weight change, but I feel better and have more energy. The fiber is keeping me full enough that water is working when I think I need a snack.

How is every one doing?

wow, I have not done a fitness test in a long time... I'll look at it and see if it is something I'm interested in doing. I got all my measurements and weight on the 21st, so I'll use those for this challenge. My surgery was on the 21st of May, so I'm checking that date every month to see how I'm progressing.

I'm set to have my knee surgery this Wednesday and can't wait for it to be over. I want my knee to not hurt so much and to be able to go up and down stairs as much as I want. It will take time to get to that point, but I will get there. I get my pupper this upcoming week and can't wait, just 6 more days!

Have you done a fitness test recently? I thought I had and discovered it has been a whole year already! So I measured my fitness stats for this challenge today. I'm going to use these and my July 1st weight as a baseline to compare my progress. I also blogged about it today on my SP page. Managed to do Cassey's Eagle and oblique work outs on my core day. Today is just walking (11 miles) and I'll be back to doing strength training workouts with my cardio, starting tomorrow evening.



@CROUCHINGFLEA and @CECELW Thanks so much for the holiday greetings--and reminder about the great men, women, and their families who are serving or are vets. Recently was chatting about a friend whose first job in the military was to help the men and women who needed to testify at the Nuremberg trials in 1945-46. It is amazing how many men and women have served in such known, and unknown ways to protect their country.

Happy 4th everyone. A big hug and thank you to 2 of my boys and to all of our troops who are now or have been in the service helping to keep our country safe. I hope all of you will get to spend time with your families and enjoy a fun day off.

I did a Denise Austin boot camp workout today. I was going to take a break today, but...I know we are going to be eating not so good for you food today. Heading out to the county fair later this evening.

@NEWVINE whooo hooo! that's the best feeling when the clothing starts to turn into "tents" LOL!

Have some medical issues with prevent me from doing some of the ab exercises Cassey does, but I do the ones I can--and supplement with ones which work better for me. Had a good WO but woke up this morning with major arthritis pain in my joints. I used to feel like that arthritis was going to be a major life-style change for me, but then I learned it was due to previously undiscovered food allergies. When I avoid those food groups, I don't have the life-alerting pain. Hope everyone has an AWESOME day!

Progress Report: I lost a pound--this is the lowest weight I've been (again, yippy) in 2018! Excited about that. Also noticing new muscles in my arms appearing when I'm not flexing--but just walking about. I've not seen these muscles since my 20s.

@CECELW that is awesome! I'm doing Cassey's videos for everything but core. I have different videos I'm using for core training.

Hello everyone. I don't think I mentioned that my name is Cindy. I am following an exercise program on Youtube. I follow several fitness trainers, but my fav's are Leslie Sansone and Jessica Smith. I do hasfit and fitness blender once in a while.

EO4WELLNESS...Yes! I like @Cassey as well. I followed her Feb schedule. She's definitely another good one.

Okay! Then here we go! So....be as involved in this as you wish. Let's try to check in with each other here July-Jan. Anything to motivate one another--or to share frustrations so we can encourage each other--or progress posts--what ever level you feel comfortable sharing.

Challenge: Make choices and plans to lose a pound a week (net) by the end of 2018. That's 25 weeks from July 1 to Jan 1 so 25 lbs lost.

Entering this challenge means you are already a winner! You have already beat your best effort if you did not enter the challenge! You are ahead of EVERY ONE who will wait until Jan 1,2019 to get started!
