So glad to hear of the changes taking place, including the different medications. Praise God that you were able to go home. It's always better when you can be at home. Will continue to pray.

Thank you all so much for the words of encouragement and wonderful prayers. We got to come home today :). Just being home makes us so happy. The doctor is adding a different kind of seizure medicine and changing his chemo treatments to twice a week by IV. God is not through with my husband and I am so blessed :)

DSHRBURR4 you have been a member of this team for a long time and have written many posts for us in the past. It always brings a smile to my face when I see you here. I am sorry to here about your husband. I will surly add him to my prayer list. I know you are a strong women in faith, and that you already know this, but I will say this anyway...God is holding your husband in his arms and will take care of him.

Dear God as you continue to care for Danny. Bring them your peace and grace during times of doubt. Hold them up with your loving arms, and bring them your strength through your power and might. Allow everyone to feel you and see you through each day and through your ways dear Lord. In Jesus name I pray amen.

Sounds like the doctors have determined a good plan of treatment, given all the situations. Still praying for you both.

I pray that he will have a fast recovery and that you may have more time together.

there was a little more thickness in the rim of where the tumor was which could be caused by the seizure that he had. To be on the safe side she is going to give him a different kind of chemo treatment by IV in case it is not from the seizure Avastin will be given every two weeks by iv in the clinic - He is getting his first dose today. The others will be every two weeks in the clinic here. He will also take his chemo pills at home once a month like he has been doing. Later on the iv's may be further spread out.. He is still feeling nauseous so I asked about taking him off of the Keppra that they put him on in Oxford - she is going to try something else instead.

I come before you in Jesus name and I lift up Danny for a complete healing of his body..Lord you have been with me through all my storms and I know you are there with this precious family during theres. Lord give strength to this family give them comfort and most of all Lord give them your peace. We come together as your children and we surround this family with prayer support and love. Lord you are a God who can do anything and Lord we pray for the doctors and the nurses that you would direct them and help them in the healing of our dear brother. We love you Lord and we give you praise...you word says to offer up a sacrifice of praise and Lord we are doing that now. In Jesus name I pray Amen

Sorry that I have not been on SP a lot but I am so very occupied enjoying whatever time I have with my husband. July will be one year since he fell out on a baseball field and the found a GBM brain tumor. He finished radiation in October and has been taking chemo once a month ever since. Last scans in April were clean - but he has been struggling with his speech a little more lately. He had a seizure at the baseball field this last weekend and now we are back in the hospital awaiting the results of another MRI. He has be very nauseated and they think it might be from an infection. Please pray that he will get his strength back and for clean scans. :)
