so i walked last 2 days and did strength today. looking forward to new challenge.

emoticon On Thursday at the Robotic Competition I met my walking goal.
Leveraged off of another volunteer who I was paired with for the event.

Friday - Not quite as many steps as I thought I might do.

Saturday - Not as many steps and dance was not moving as much as I thought this time. Dance time was 8 to 10 pm but there were more breaks than I had planned on.

no formal exercise but walked a lot at shopping centre, necessity not pleasure.

thanks. yes, you're right. planning improves behavior in exercise and eating, but i'm not up to it right now.

today was gentle 10-15 min. my leg needed a rest.

Studies have shown that you are more likely to do the exercise if you plan the exercise. I found this true for me too.

Minnie - I will look to see where to sign up for Chris' weekly emails because I can not remember.

Monday - 60 minutes at the Gym
Tuesday - 90 minutes square dancing
Wednesday - 15 minutes walking
Thursday - Safety Crew for Robot Competition - Monitor Step target 10k
Friday - Safety Crew for Robot Competition - Monitor Step target 10k
Saturday - Safety Crew for Robot Competition - Monitor Step target 5 K & Square Dancing 2 hrs
Sunday - Gym 60 minutes

Robot Competition time is going to be my stretch because I am out of town and not in my routine.
Also I have not been to the Gym since I had started Physical Therapy last fall.

This week's plan is a little different than usual because I'm going on a trip, but I am using that as part of the plan to try and increase my overall mileage.

Today: Walked the dog in the morning (1.3 miles), abs/arms strength, ran w/dog in the afternoon (2.5 miles)
Tomorrow: Walk the dog in the morning (1.1 miles), legs/shoulders strength
Wednesday: Walk the dog in the morning (1.5 miles), back/arms strength
Thursday: Run in/around hotel in morning (3 miles), abs/arms strength, walk to/from convention (2 miles)
Friday: legs/shoulders strength, walk to/from convention (2 miles)
Saturday: back/arms strength, walk to/from convention (2 miles)
Sunday: Run in/around hotel in morning (5-6 miles)

No day but today ...

where do chris's emails go. if they come to my sparkmail, how do i sign up for them?

hard for me to predict what i'll be able to do. i don't have a plan, but maybe i should.

i want to be active daily.

I think it is better if the plan is general and/or there are alternatives. If people are unable to do a set exercise, they cannot participate and become discouraged.

This team is small and varied right now so I am doing a general exercise challenge.

This weeks Exercise challenge is
1) Document your exercise plan.
2) Review your plan and add a stretch goal. So if your exercise plan include 20 sit ups then try and stretch that to 21 to 22 sit ups. Don't forget to tell us what that extra exercise goal is.
