Hello all! Here is the MC for this week:

The Mini-Challenge for next week is an Intake Challenge to include more calcium in our diets. It is a challenge we've done quite a few times but is something that I still struggle with since I have cut out almost all dairy from my diet because of digestion issues and diary is usually a good source of calcium.

Did you know that 85% of the population does not get enough calcium? And for women, it's SO important that we do. In fact, my doctor has told me that at my age (which I'm not telling), I need to make SURE I get my RDA of calcium.

This weeks MC is to get within the daily recommended range (100-150) of calcium intake for 4 of the 7 days this challenge is in effect...oh yeah, and post about it, too. Sound simple? It's not. Personally, I will have be creative about getting dairy into our bodies without the use of so much dairy!

BUT, here is a super great SP article about Calcium and it gives you some ways to meet the daily recommendation for intake, too....plus, you get 3 points for reading it (bonus!)!

Let's get with it and get our calcium this week in the healthiest ways possible. Don't forget to post how you are doing in this Forum.

PS: Calcium supplements are absolutely permitted and encouraged, if needed, but post here if you find a creative way to get your RDA of calcium.

This challenge will be for the entire week it is in effect! Annnnnnnnd....go!
