keeping up with my freggies and still haven't made any more yoghourt so that's keeping the dairy down.

yes. pretty common.

indeed cutting out everything which someone says isn't good for us will definitely lead to weight loss. it'll also lead to quick death by starvation. emoticon

nuts, salad [greens, tomatoes, pepper, celery, kirby, garlic, olive oil], asparagus, banana, peanuts, ginger

i'm always glad to add food. problem is subtracting it and portion size. adding water is still a challenge!!

Freggies? I'm assuming Fruits and veggies, but I've never heard of it referred as freggies emoticon

I'm having a hard time getting away from my little bit of creamer in my coffee (although I did switch to FF during last weeks challenge). Other than my little creamer, we are a almond milk family. Does that still count as dairy?

Ok, just read this. This challenge will be a little easy for me, as I don't like 90% of these foods. My weakness is Soda's, we have pretty much cut out a lot of fried foods, but occasionally still have them. I'm not sure what foods I will incorporate, but I'll find one.

Attemtped no diet soda. Although I usually only drink 1 a day, I should eliminate it all together. It was my plan for yesterday. But before I realized I was drinking a diet soda. Half way through I realized my mistake. Bad habits are tricky little suckers. :)
Less diet soda, more water!!

Agreed, great articles. I'll have to put the HBO Special on my list to watch.
I could not get the SFgate article to come up.

Great ideas and topic for the week... Thanks!

Good morning everyone!

Here is a new Intake MC for us this week. I'm struggling again with motivation and finding that I'm confused about what's good to put in and what's bad to put in the body, what causes belly fat, what might make me tired, and what EXACTLY are the foods I should be eating.

This week, we're going to investigate the Worst Foods you can eat, even though some of them may appear to be healthy or healthy benefits. Here's the article:

www.womenshealthmag.com/weight-loss/
wo
rst-healthy-snacks-for-weight-loss

Next, here are a couple articles explaining the 10+ worst foods we can eat for weight loss and why:

science.howstuffworks.com/science-vs

yth/everyday-myths/10-absolutely-worR>st-foods-to-eat.htm

healthyeating.sfgate.com/10-worst-fo
od
s-make-gain-weight-2280.html/

For your viewing pleasure,I found this documetary by HBO. It's called Weigh to a Nation and it targets the US:

theweightofthenation.hbo.com/films

Lastly, some foods that will help you LOSE weight:

Top 9 Foods to Lose:
www.webmd.com/diet/features/9-foods-
to
-help-you-lose-weight

Top 50 Foods to Lose:
www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/gal

20-belly-flattening-foods

So, the MC this week and start some "Replacement Therapy". I'd like to see you cut out every food that they say is "bad" for weight loss and report back here on what foods you've incorporated into your diet that are "good" for weight loss.

Who's game?

L.
