I was out of town this morning so I won't weigh until in the morning. I have to weigh Daily because of my CHF.

OK, so the Jewish New Year has passed and I was really hoping not to gain weight over the holiday but I've gone up .7. I now weigh 158.2. My goal for next week is to be down to 156.5-157 and to not let this (less than a pound) gain steer me off course.

I weigh ever day now because I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure 2 months ago. I had gained 10 pounds in 3 months (I have to see doctor and have blood test every 3 months) but a month after the my legs got so swollen they hurt. I had suddenly gained 8-10 pounds in less than a week - actually 3 days. Now after getting on Lasix and then having the dosage doubled I have lost 14-16 pounds but still need to lose 7 pounds to get back to where I was before the start of the weight gains. When I get there I can start thinking I'm really losing weight. Hopefully I can get back on my exercise program. I was doing good on my daily walk that was up to 1.4 miles in about 32 min until I started coughing and wheezing a week and a half ago. My doctor said nothing strenuous (not anything to get me short of breath, don't be around pollen's, pollutants, and smoke. I hope Thursday I am better and can resume walk and exercise. I have lost a few pounds but it must be fluids.

I weigh 164.8 today but had gotten down to 157.6 on my way to 127 but this is a lot better than 178..

A little frustrated that the scale hasn't moved this week even though I've been working hard at exercising and limiting my food intake. I've got 2 more days before my "official" weigh in for the week though so hopefully by then...

Still 171 but lost inches. I think my body is adjusting to all the exercising ie changes in fat to muscle etc... I'll take the lost inches over the scale any day!!

My goal is to continue to do what I am doing and not worry about the scale so much.
