Minnie, it sounds horrible and not at all a healthy diet. It's good that it's only for a short time.

My pantry and fridge aren't too bad at the moment, I've got some peanut butter leftover that contains sugar, but not too much, and I often give it to the dog. I'll replace it with all natural no sugar when I get groceries on Saturday

I also switched to a paleo type of diet and I've lost 35 pounds because of it. I'm hovering around 137-140 and when I started I was at 173. :D Lots of yum stuff in my pantry and in my frig but the pantry could use a going through.

Will do this sometime this week.

... healthy panty makeover? Ahem.

I actually don't have much bad food in the house since I have shifted more towards whole/less-processed foods. I start my second Whole30 on Monday, even.

Even though I can't have grains for a bit, my favorite whole-grain quinoa and rice blends recently went on sale. So I bought multiple bags, since they will disappear from the shelves for several months. No white rice to be seen.

I will peek at the articles later and see what they say.

Is it honestly August already???

This is going to be our first motivational challenge of the series and it's a relatively new one! I've read a lot about motivating this morning and I've seen something that I think may help...but first, let's get into the kitchen!

It's particularly hard to eat right when you have bad things in the pantry. They become your "go-to" in a pinch. Instead, let's clean that out and replace those bad choices with some good ones!

This week, your challenge will be to clean out your pantry and refrigerator. Get rid of the foods that sabotage your weight loss. They may still be hanging around from a holiday or family gathering...or you may be prepping for some tempting desserts & cookies for a summer cookout. Let's get those things OUTTA there!

Replace! Here some some interesting articles about what TO HAVE in your fridge & panty:
