67% from food and rest from pills. i still have calories left. i need more fiber. already had broccoli. dairy doesn't contain fiber.

75% from food, plus supplements. i cut out my milk and raisins. i can't get all the nutrients i want in only 1400 calories.

so far, my calcium from food is only 76%, but i take 4 monster size pills per day, so i more than meet the minimum.

The Mini-Challenge for next week is something we've done a few times and something that I still struggle with, though I'm trying to weed out some of the dairy from my diet because of digestion issues....but anyway....did you know that 85% of the population does not get enough calcium? And for women, it's SO important that we do. In fact, my doctor has told me that at my age (which I'm not telling :), I need to make SURE I get my RDA.

This weeks MC is to get within the daily recommended range (100-150) of calcium intake for 4 of the 7 days this challenge is in effect...oh yeah, and post about it, too. Sound simple? It's not. Well, it's harder to be consistent with this for ME, than almost any other challenge I've found.

BUT, here is a super great SP article about Calcium and it gives you some ways to meet the daily recommendation for intake, too....plus, you get 3 points for reading it (bonus!)!
