Honey, I'm right there with you. I started with Spark 6+ years ago at 172 pounds. I dropped 50 pounds, which was too much for my age actually, and have since put it back on mostly because of meds and not working out very much....and eating fake stuff....

I'm back, weighing in at 165.8 (which is down from the 171 I was at a few weeks ago), and starting all over again. I almost closed the Team down because I felt so unqualified to lead a SP Team when I, myself, am needing to Start Over again. I felt like such a failure!

It was through the support of the members on this team though that I got turned around, many telling me that it was BECAUSE I had to Start Over, I should lead the Team. So, here I am. I'm in the same boat and rowing just as hard as everyone else is.

So, every little ounce helps, believe me!!!!

MEG3450, I know exactly where you are coming from with the meds. We need to team up and lose our 1/2 pounds together. emoticon

LABRYANT thank you for the reply. It's very disheartening, I've lost 30lbs since I joined TOPS, but now I have put it all back on in a matter of a few weeks. I forget just how much a pound of anything does weigh.

Start point is 190 lbs. Goal to lose is 1/2 lb. Not much, but with meds I am on, it is hard to lose anything.

My goal is to lose 1/2 a pound this week.

I know that's a small amount, I would rather start small and realistic than to jump right in saying I want to lose 3 pounds, then be disappointed.

At our T.O.P.S. meeting one lady says just focus on losing a 1/4 of a pound a week. Doesn't sound like much, but at the end of the month you have lost a pound.

My doctor has put me on Lyrica and the scale is going up faster than it comes down, so we will see how the medication goes.

I weighed in at 165.8 this morning. That's a total drop of 6 pounds from when I had the mini-meltdown a few weeks ago....AND, I did it over the holidays!

I feel pumped.

Moving past my catepillars....

Place either your start weight here or the goal you would like to lose this week.

You do not have to. It's not a requirement of the Team, however, I find it's a good accountability "thing" for me.
