Baked tortilla chips to eat with cottage cheese-avocado-salsa dip for lunch - saved 112 cals (and a ton of sodium).

Made my own crappe Frappe version using no fat no cal ingredients to make a barely noticeable calorie intake verses my 400 usual calorie intake from *bucks. (plus saved on money) Tasted horrible but the reward tasted sweet.

Last night had Taco bell chicken soft taco for dinner instead of Chik fil a that my husband suggested. Saved 450 calories.

Had 1/3 serving of mac n cheeze, saved 320 cals, tasted just as good. 8-)
Put low-fat mayo on my spinach, saved 50 cals. Frankly: I prefer no mayo to low-fat mayo, and a 15 cal hershey kiss tastes much better than 15 cals worth of low-fat mayo. (but then, would I be able to stop at one kiss?)

I really like this challenge. . .gives me more options.

Did two things today: I was craving a hamburger, and Burger King is my favorite, so I ordered one off the Kid's menu; then for tonight's dinner, I had left-over turkey soup, and ate just 1/2 the serving. 300 Calls off the burger, 122 cals off the soup.

This a relatively new MC that was added to the rotation 2 times ago. I like it though because it has me looking at my calorie count very closely. :D

So, this week we're going to work on finding some places where we can make an easy cut in our intake calories. The following Sparkpeople article gives us 50 different places where we can cut 100 or so calories:

Every hundred helps!!!! The Mini-Challenge for this week is for you to pick 1-2 of the 50 ways to cut calories in this article on four days out of the seven the MC is in effect. Then, post here and tell us which of the ways you tried and liked, or that maybe didn't work for you and why.

Try different ones and experiment! Perhaps you can create a new habit this week! :D Let us know how and what you're doing to cut those calories!
