I am terrible at this. I have the best intentions, but I don't follow through. I bring a piece of fruit to work each day for a snack, but I usually end up working through my snack. I will try harder this week.

Fruits: a big banana (two servings)
Vegetables: Corn, beans, peppers (vegetarian chili--three servings), broccoli, water chestnuts, baby corn, carrots (vegetarian stir-fry--at least two servings)

I'm 4'10.5". A normal BMI for my height tops out at 121.

This week, it' back to the Intake Mini-Challenge and in the past this has been our most popular MC!

As I said, it's an Intake Challenge Week so we are going to concentrate this week on what goes IN the body to help us either lose or maintain our weight or break through a plateau.

Here are the details:

They say that we can "survive" on a diet that includes 2-3 servings of fruits & vegetables (EACH!) per day. That's nice, but did you know that we can THRIVE on a diet that includes FIVE servings of fruits and veggies per day???

This weeks MC will be to each 5 servings EACH of fruits & veggies at least 4 days out of the 7 this MC is in effect.


Now, I've done this particular MC quite a few times in the past and because of that, in the back of my mind during the day is always the thought that I should get my fruits and veggies in. Part of what this Team tries to do is create new and better habits in our lives. This is a good one, so let's start! ;)
