35. broccoli and garbanzo beans did the trick. too many calories, though. seems to be a pattern. maybe i need them to heal. i'm not gaining (yet).

Didn't do too well the last few days. I was on a liquid diet Thursday/Friday due to some medical tests. Saturday didn't feel well, but today is looking good. Swapped black beans for my chicken at dinner and I'll be at 28g for the day.

I'm off to a good start. Monday 20 grams, Tuesday 26 grams. I really have to work at this, before joining this challenge I only averaged 15 grams per day.

i got 37 again and again about 1600 calories. too many. also too much carb and too little protein. but of course, most protein has no fiber. need a balance.

why is quinoa so hi in calories?

LOVNLAUGHTER - yes! You can! Go to Track Nutrition, then under the meal tracker, click on Edit Nutrition Goals, then click on "Add Another Nutrient to Track."

I'm 4'10.5". A normal BMI for my height tops out at 121.

I'm not very good at counting fiber yet. I wish I could add that to my nutrients on my tracker. Is that possible? I counted 17 grams for Monday. I'll work on that this week.

With vacation & getting my daughter to and from camp, I haven't been online too much. It's been even longer since I have logged my food. So I will definitely try to get back to things this week.

L, you got the challenge up monday. hooray. sunday would be better for paolina.

great challenge. means i have to record (and measure) food, unfortunately. ...or is it fortunately? :)
haven't been overeating due to soft food restriction.too much effort. can't just grab.

today, made the quinoa that has been in my closet half a year. hope it doesn't give me heartburn. should help the cause.

Fiber Up Mini-Challenge!

This is the 2nd of our 6 month rotation of Mini-Challenges. Sometimes we change them up but this one is a "tried & true", so we keep it near to the starting point.

For the new members: This team is set up for us to see Mini-Challenges during the month as follows:

2 weeks - Intake Mini-Challenge
1 week - Exercise Mini-Challenge
1 week - Self Esteem Mini-Challenge

This is week two of the month so here we go!
Fiber is necessary in our diets and our bodies for many reasons. Did you know that not getting enough fiber can actually cause you to GAIN weight? Have you been getting your 25-35 grams of fiber daily?

This week we'll concentrate on meeting our fiber goals and maybe create a new habit along the way. Read the following Spark article for suggestions on how to up your fiber intake:

Remember, this is a mini-challenge, so you'll complete the challenge by getting your RDI of fiber at least 5 of the 7 days this Challenge is in effect. Make sure you post to this list how you are doing it that the other team members can learn from you too!

PS: It's important to keep up the water intake we started last week during this fiber mini-challenge!

Also, don't forget to log in your starting weight for this Challenge under the accompanying Weigh-In Forum. Good luck and fiber up!!!!
