paolina,i love the taste of sweetened coffee, but i don't drink it. ok, i won't make my outing an ice cream parlor. :) but it has to be something other than a doc.

I gave up sugar in drinks many years ago and never use sweeteners. I dislike the taste of sweetened tea and coffee.

good challenge. i gave up my sucralose a while ago.one packet a day did help me lose weight, though.

This is a brand new Mini-Challenge (once again, sorry it's late) but it's been something I've been doing for the last month and I want to share.

I am/was a big, big lover of "The Little Pink Packet" called Sweet 'N Low, an artificial sweetener. There are other packets out there, there's the Blue, there's the Yellow and I think there is now the White & Green (Truvia). I was using 2 pink packets per cup of coffee plus adding pre-sweetened creamer on top of that. I was drinking 2-4 cups of coffee a day, so that's up to 8 packets in just my coffee!

My doctor told me to get off of the artificials immediately...said that if lab rats are fed only those sweeteners, they gain weight! (though the cause is not known)
