oh yes that would be my grand daughter. She is five and one active little girl. I want to get more active and be able to keep up with her. And I appreciate so how my husband supports me and cheers me on each and every day

To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person that you are. Be true to yourself and enjoy life.

Do you have one particular person that sparks your enthusiasm to do better each day?

FOR ME..... it's me first. If I can't wake up and do this for myself, no one else can. My daughter inspires me everyday with her enthusiasm to make better changes for her and her family and constantly encourages me to pick the right path to a better lifestyle.

When I was losing the weight, I would go to Savers, a thrift store, and get new clothes when my clothes were too big. I don't have the money too buy new clothes, wear them a few months and then outgrow them. When I reached goal, I rewarded myself with a pair of Calvin Klein jeans and a new top. Those were very expensive but I am worth it.

I workout at "home" - I run in the neighborhood and walk on campus during my lunch breaks (I work at a university).

I go through phases using the trackers. Since my fitbit tracks my steps for me, I usually just add my ST to my exercise tracker. We cook pretty much everything at home from scratch, and it's never the same, so the meal tracker can be pretty tedious sometimes. I usually don't use it, unless I see the scale starting to go in the wrong direction.

Yes. Every 5 lbs lost, I give myself a little treat. I will also give myself a big reward at final goal, then again every 6 months of maintenance.

Do you reward yourself during your journey to better health?

FOR ME....I do reward myself. Not with food. I will usually go and buy myself something new to wear or something for the house.

I work out at home..I have an exercise bike that I ride. I am going to a chiropractor and have to be careful what I do with my back. I like to do Leslie Sansone, I have a walking cassette tape Walking to the Beat, but since I have problems with my ankle I can't walk like I used to. I do a lot around the house. Being a widow I have plenty to do.

Knitting about 95% of the time. Walks help during the work day (I walk on my lunch break). If I'm really stressed out, a hot bath with a bath bomb, then a cup of hot tea after usually does the trick.

Me time - usually at least 15 minutes knitting time a day. Some days I get closer to 3 hrs.

Running - yes, it's my go-to exercise

Land line - yes, but it doesn't work and I don't have the time to not go to work so they can fix it.

It's not what most people would call running. It's what I call a jog walk. I doubt if it's any quicker than walking but I do breath harder for the short bout.

Which is your frozen dessert of choice?

Frozen yogurt

Gelato

Ice cream

Sherbet or sorbet

Non-dairy frozen dessert

I don't eat any of these

Do you like pumpkin, and if so, what is your favorite way to eat it. I love pumpkin everything - real or fake. My favorite would probably have to be pumpkin coffee or beer, though I can get picky with those.

What are you most grateful for? - My fiance for sticking with me through the good times and the bad (we've been together for over 8 years and have made it through 4 marching band seasons and two study abroad trips). I am also thankful that I have a healthy body that lets me do all the amazing things I can do.

Do you see the world as a new day each day? - Some days I forget this, but when things go wrong, I always remind myself that I can fix things the next day.

Do you see the world as a new day each day?

FOR ME....I wake up with the idea to try at least one new thing. It could be trying a new recipe, going in a different direction when I go for my walk so that I can see something new. Or to try something new that is out of my comfort zone.

Love pumpkin bread - try to keep that to a minimum

However daily - french pressed pumpkin coffee hits the spot.

Favorite Fall activitiy!

I love watching someone else picking up the leaves and bagging them. Then putting them out front for the borough to pick them up.
