Due to my DH and DD's devasting health situations I got away from Spark. They have both passed away, so I am restarting the program. It feels good, and feels like I am learning to love and care about myself again. I began with the 10 minute workout DVD Fit, Firm and Fired up. On day 5.

I am using my trackers and have added some new goals on the list of health building stuff I do every day. When I track what I have done I use yesterday's nutrition, exercise, water, and other goals. It's only morning-time now, so I won't track today yet.

My husband is a tiny person and eats many times during the day but not a lot at a time. I eat when Iím hunger and itís a meal. Between supper and going to bed last night he ate 4 different snacks and each time offering some to me. Now that I am becoming more aware of bad habits i made myself a commitment to not eat after supper. Itís those snacks that add up to additional calories and his eating habits are different than mine

I can't decide totally if I eat out of boredom, or if I eat "just because" it's something to do!
I enjoy sitting in front of the TV with my hubby watching TV shows (smile)

I have found that I eat mostly out of boredom. I am not able to get out much do keeping busy is my goal. My instincts however, are to park in front of the TV.... I really need to get healthy! emoticon

I too am taking Control of my Health, again. I destroyed it through the years by lack of proper diet and exercise. I ate little, worked a lot and spent the money on Doctors and Medications and kept the vicious circle going. I bought into the lies that Pop Tarts, Captain Crunch, etc was healthy. NOT! Neither is Iceberg lettuce and a couple of slices of tomato and onion daily and that is all I ate, 365. I have Wised Up, eating a better variety, getting more water, fresh air, resting and learning to apply things to me.

Ask, and it shall be given to you;

Good work!
I am also fighting hard to get started in my journey again.
I was here in 2010 with some success but i gained it back over the years due to stress and an unhappy relationship.
I am trying now to focus on being healthy for me although I don't know where to begin.
I don't want to put my happiness in a partner again and i want a healthy life and future healthy relationships

Hello,

I decided that it was time for me to stop sitting and get off the couch and move more with exercise and walking 3 miles a day (working on 5 miles). Also eating the right kinds of foods for a type 2 diabetic.

I went from 199 pounds to 163, I'm trying really hard to get rid of the negative and put more into to positive. I Got This. emoticon
