My troop is actually doing a lot fitness related right now. We are working on the Personal Fitness Merit badge so every 2 weeks, we start our troop meeting with running, push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups. The boys are doing daily fitness and tracking. We are also preparing to go backpacking for the first time this year. We did a smaller hike last week up to a lake and next weekend, we will hike 2 miles up to a lake and camp overnight. I am pretty excited since most of these boys have never been backpacking before.

Share with us what you're doing in your unit, or on your own (because that also benefits your unit, really) that is fitness related. Pretty much everything is fitness related in scouting though isn't it?
