Yes, I guess. It's more with the holidays. From the beginning of November through Christmas, I tend to want the old way of life and want to bake and eat non-stop, all the things I have decided I shouldn't be baking and eating.

Then the rest is seasonal, at least as the growing seasons go.
If I am in NC in the winter, I always have a healthy stew or soup cooking in the crockpot. And I also find myself roasting a lot of vegetables.


And summer finds me devouring fresh produce, especially the bounty of fresh fruit which is available here. I usually have green salads 2-3 meals a day, though they are sometimes blended or micro-processed.

In the fall, I start my fall garden, mainly salad greens and sugar snap peas. Until that lettuce is ready for harvesting, I don't much choose green salads, I have to force those good decisions.

January starts the seedlings for the spring/summer garden and I can't wait for the fresh food to be bountiful in my garden and at the produce stand. I think that pull is mainly for corn on the veggie end. And all the fruit I can't grow here like blueberries, strawberries, cherries, peaches. And the ones I can like melons and tomatoes.

And apples in the fall. I am thankful we have northern states that grow apples and ship them to Florida!!!

And I don't know when the season is for pineapple, but I think I have to thank worldwide growers for this favorite. I bought a huge container at Sam's today to grill the next time I smoke acorn squash.

Here in our area of Brazil the seasons do not change much. I tend to have more of a struggle when I am upset. I am doing great and have had more steady emotions since eating vegan!

For me....I don't really crave certain foods but we eat differently during the different seasons. Salads in the Summer and more crockpot foods in the Winter.

I gained weight maybe 5 years after I got married around the age of 28 and spent my 30's overweight. (That makes me sad.) I made the decision around age 38 to get control of it.

Yes!!! I do watch the biggest loser,I know the amount of exercise they do each day is not the real world though. It's interesting that this season the amount of weight lose each week is pretty low considering the exercise they do each day!!! Diane
