...if you continue to have issues, I'd suggest calling the manufacturer... the number is usually on back...

"The real secret of success is enthusiasm..." thanks, Walter P. Chrysler. I believe it. That's what I want in my life--to give my imagination a chance, to live with energy and enthusiasm!
P.S. I looked up enthusiasm, and it says the root words mean God within... interesting...!

Ralph Waldo Emerson said 'Life belongs to the energetic.' But you don't have to be frenetic and hyper--some energy is quiet and steady, like a heartbeat... and that works too! LOL

Life comes one mome

The battery was my first thought, but that's a different code.

It's the right test strip. They all came together and they worked before. They are only supposed to need 0.5 ml blood and the 2nd try my finger was really bleeding. I don't think the strips were drawing it up correctly, though.

Thank you for the information, though. Now I know it has to do with the strips and not the battery.

It means the sample was not detected or you're using the wrong test strip. You have to use the test strip compatible w/your glucometer. They're not interchangeable. Or you may have to use a larger blood sample.

I don't have that glucometer but sometimes if you wash your hands and don't dry them enough it can cause some problems or not enough blood on strip?

I have a True Metrix meter, which is the only kind my insurance will pay for. Today I tried 3 times to take my BS reading and it kept coming up with an error E-2. Can anyone tell me what that means?

I have been trying to eat low carb, though yesterday I ended up with about 84 g. I wanted to see if it was helping any. My weight went down after the first couple days and is now going back up again.
