gee that is from just giving up wheat ? Is that ok for a diabetes person to do ? I need more information about this . where do i turn to find out . . might find myself heading that way if i can do it .

I gave up wheat over 3 years ago and will NEVER eat it again, even worse than sugar if that is possible.
Low-carb is the way to go and you can't really go too low-carb IMO.

Yes, it helps, as type 2 is, after all, carb intolerance, or at least sensitivity.

I dave giving up anything with wheat in it over a month ago. I was taking 3 types of oral medications, now I find myself having to cut back on some of them because of low blood sugars. My average blood sugar for the month is 123. My last A1c was 7.4. Anyone else notice this when cutting out wheat?
