I'd go with the fanny pack, too. I usually have one of those with me when I take the dog for a walk. It has a place on the side for a water bottle and has room enough for my ID, etc.

I don't know how large your meter is, but if you are interested they have a True Test meter that is called Tru-to-Go that is really small. The meter attaches to the top of the container of strips (yes, that small) and there is a cover over it that has a place for the lancet. It is small enough to put in your pocket if your clothes aren't too tight (like mine are).

You can carry it in a fanny pack around your waist.

Tomorrow I am walking a 5K being held in the local community. I did one last month and really enjoyed it. But here's the question, when I'm exercising outside like that I never know how or where to carry my glucometer? My Keys? In my car I keep an Atkins Drink, it does not need to be refrigerated and will raise my sugar if it drops. For me unfortunately I don't worry to much about lows. My sugar tends to raise after my exercise, then drops like a rocket a little while later. Almost a delayed affect. But I still carry my glucometer with me, just in case. So many changes happening in my body. You just never know.

But where do I carry all of this junk. Glucometer, keys, water, ? Anyone have any thoughts. Maybe I don't need to carry as much as I do
