There is not a way to sync them. We advise that you pick which one you are going to use and then turn the other off. It would be easiest to follow his and then just adjust your portion sizes (you can leave your meal plan on for portion size references) for your needs.

I am pre-diabetic and can only say that for me the Spark recommendations for diabetic eating don't work. My blood sugars only stay in the normal range without meds or insulin if my carb levels stay around 30-40 grams/day. I have chosen the low-carb team in addition to the diabetes team to stay healthy. It works extremely well for cholesterol/heart issues for a lot of people as well. Avoiding carbs/sugar will reduce inflammation, which is very important for heart health.

Hi, my name is Helen. I have been on spark people off and on for awhile now, and controlling cholesterol has been my main focus. Recently my husband has expressed interest in also using spark people diets to control his diabetes. I have no problem with also using the diabetes nutrition plans but obviously his caloric needs are greater than mine. Is there any way to sync our diet plans so we are both getting the same diet plan? I mean the same meal selections. Does this make sense? Thanks for any suggestions!!
