I have it and I love the variety of exercises. The options are still there--her mom does, as usual, the "less" strenuous and Beth, as usual, does the peppy versions.

Day 8 of Walk Strong 3.
Incorporates high intensity cardio with dumbbell work and standing/mat work. A workout. I think I'm liking the variety of workouts--don't feel all cardio or walking nor all strengthing or dumbbell work. Kind of like multi-tasking.

Thank you RETIREESMITH. I think I'll stick to Walk Strong 1 & 2. I have most of the DVDs for them and what I don't have I can find on YouTube. Good luck with Walk Strong 3.

Day 6 of Walk Strong 3. OK, I'm think Disc 5--where today's session was located--is the barefoot/less cardio disc. Once again, they were barefooted--I wore my shoes/socks--and we used some light weights to work core and balance. I enjoyed it, and I still felt it was a workout.

I'm not sure about the first two Master Rotations, but I have other of her dvds. Seems as though most of those were cardio oriented, and with this one, I'm 6 days in and have done 2 of these less cardio/more core and balance workouts. The rest days offer stretching workouts. I'm enjoying the variety, but I'm often surprised by the day's session.

I have received several emails to purchase this system, but I have so many of Jessica's DVDs I could not talk myself into buying this one.

To those who have bought this, Is the rotation similar to Jessica's first two Master Rotations?

Day 5 of Walk Strong 3 was more like the JS I've done in the past. Good ole cardio and IT. Some of the moves were newish, but all were familiar.

Still need to catch up by working in Day 6.

Thanks, DANCIN2ANEWME, for your support and encouragement.
I didn't get back to "catch up" by doing Day 5 today; may try tomorrow or Sunday.

Might also check for the step instrument on ebay or another sale list.

Day 4 was mostly strength for the core, with some leg and arm moves with dumbbells and floor work. Felt good afterwards.
May try to catch up by doing Day 5 later today.

DANCIN2ANEWME, you might check a sport resale shop--in the Chicago area we have Play it Again Sam.

Day 3 of Walk Strong 3 was, again, a bit different than I've experienced with JS. It was a barefoot session--I wore socks for a while but was sliding on the carpet, so I ended up taking off my socks. Definitely a workout but different--balance and core moves. A Pilates or playground ball was used, her mom didn't use a ball. I followed her mom.

Today, Day 2 of Walk Strong 3. More of what I expected--but lots more floor work than others I've done by JS. And..........remember the step? That was one of the pieces of equipment for today; her mom, though, didn't use a step.
I'll have to get mine out and clean it before I bring it in the house. I could do her mom's modifications, but at some point I hope to/should be able to do what JS and Beth are doing, using the step!

I have done a few of them but not starting the official schedule until next year. Have several challenges running through Dec & Jan. I really enjoyed the few that I did and have to agree with you that the FOUNDATIONS one was not what I was expecting though I understand why she put that in there on day one. HOWEVER, the challenge I started this month the first 2 days was kind of a back to basics (foundations type) and made me realize not only do we lose the correct form and postures with time...when we get all speedy in some of these workouts...the form completely goes out the window. I will most likely not do the foundation practice on a regular basis but I am going to for sure touch on it every now and then. Wow...I guess I really did learn something this month!! Rant over. emoticon emoticon emoticon

I got mine using a "coupon code" from a JS email. I was surprised at the first "workout" this morning--Foundation. Granted, these moves are great, and I may go back to them on a "rest" day, but we didn't "hit the ground running" as I expected.
The second part of today's workout was a 1 mile motivation.
I think I'm going to like this program; I've liked her previous programs.

Got mine as soon as it came out, but had 3 days of the 30 day challenge to finish. Then I got the most horrendous cold! Need all this coughing to go away so I can start this. How is everyone like this one?
