I'm starting a new 10 week weight loss challenge at work, so I dug out the six week revolution set to get me through the first six weeks. My check-out list is already posted on the refrigerator door. I'm also logging all my food to keep on track. Wishing everyone a healthy and happy new year!

i completed another challenge. nect week i a m going to freeestyle it. i was dreading my the last video i did. but that is not surprising. after 4 weeks i get sick of a routine and am ready for something else

i travel saturxday but i have tomorrow off so i can do my last 2 videos tomorrow or 1 tomorrow and 1 friday. i should finish all of week 4 with no problems. i have the day 5 left so the stretching can be added easily to any routine

doing better this week. got 3 workouts done - 2 left. ok so i did 2 tonight and skipped to the stretch video. but i figure the important thing is to do them. i think in 4 days i can avoid illness or excuses to getting them done.

i am not doing great with Healthy for the Holidays Fitness challenge
i rocked week 1- i took a break the week after that because i was sick. then my week do i did day 1 right away then 2 more at the end of the week. so i only completed 1 fuil week. so i will have to start up again today for week 3 and just do it earlier at night,

i am trying to get more sleep so i am preparing for bed earlier at night, so i am showering during my normal exercise time. i am sleeping a bit more but still need ot work at getting to bed sooner.

3 weeks of fall challenge done. it was a bit tough getting the last one done. i lost my energy a bit but told myself to at least start the video. if i am not feeling well then i can so something else. once i started i was able to finish. glad i did. because monday night i was tired and i had an event tonight so i when i got home i decided to start week 4 and get it done beore i went. so i have 5 days left to do the other 4

my workouts have not recovered since my oral surgery, so about 2 months. still doing mostly low impact, low intensity and intermitant strength training. in october i am going to do fall into fitness challenge. that way if i have a set challenge to keep me focused and i know i will be getting in more focused work and i will make sure i will fit in the time to do it

Afternoon all!! Here's to a great day! I have been picking up the house but now the baby is up and may become alittle trickier now. Looking pretty outside may have to take the kiddos out for a walk sometime today. But first need to find a snack for my 6 yr old. Started a water challenge for myself and 10K step challenge too to get me moving today.

I've been pretty blah lately. I haven't really gotten into the working out again for quite sometime so the only thing I was getting was my 30 min walk at lunch time. Now that I'm part time and soon to be jobless I have not moved to much. Unless I mowed but other then that no jumping or sweating has been done for quite some time. I need to get back at it. Starting the beginner hit tomorrow unless I get it squeezed in today yet.

1 more video and my challenge is done then i have to pick my next challenge. i like to make sure i have at least 2 days of strength training per week. my biggest thing is to have my non exercise task list. i tend to sit and zone out a lot in front of the computer and i am trying to find other tasks, hobbies that will get me off the computer

i love jessica's walk and talk series. even when tiered and lethargic they get me inspired to some healthy habit. i either exercise more or plan a healthy snack. or i clen organize something. so even thought not physically intense, it is more of an exercise for my creativity, and my spirit.

I started feeling crummy on sunday night but decided to work through it anyway. by monday i did not feel better but i figured my head cold would be gone. but i was wrong. i am still getting ofer it but i did get 3 of the 5 videos done for the week. tomorrow night i will skip to the stretching video. i may not get them all done, buit i will still do a little at time just to keep myself going.

my week off challanges has become a week and a half. on the bright side i used my tabata timer twice this week. i still have to have a planned routine so i work harder, but i do a good workout i am not working really hard yet with it but i figure after a few times i will have an idea what moves i want to do. tonight i did 2 sets of flying jacks.

still doing 8 hrs of ot a week. but i started my fall into fitness challenge on sunday. i am going to do it 6 weeks. 2 of 5 videos are done for week 1 mostly i want to my balance to improve and my stamina. for now i will stop a couple seconds/ reps early if ineed to catch my breath, i want to use perfect form and build the stamina. i dont want to do any video pausing. last time it made my workouts last 40 minutes some nights. i am going to do it through this time,.

i changed my mind.. shocker, i am going to wait till october to redo the FALL BACK INTO FITNESS CHALLENGE. i did it last year and enjoyed it. i am not ready to give up on summer yet. i found a different challenge that has 10-20 minute videos and i want to try that one. i am redoing several of my habits so i want to focus on 1 or 2 shorter workouts per day so i can try to increase focus and intensity.

our business required overtime continues on. it may be another month before it is done. i have been putting extra effort into walking more during the work day and also doing a quick jessica video when i got the time. not always getting 10000 steps, but getting close and then going over 10,000 other days. it is harder to cook at home. this weekend will definatly be a crockpot thing so i have easier meals during the week

Look through her yoga selections. Yoga really is a lot of stretching and a great cool down. I was astounded once when I was watching a yoga class once how many moves I was familiar with as my fitness instructors over the years used those moves for the cool down and stretches after classes.

something is better then nothing- i decided that i would make plans so some healthy decision were easier. for a road trip, i exercised before i left and packed healthy snacks. i did drink to much pop but i did plan extra freggie servings for both days

Hi everyone,

Any suggestions over stretching videos? My muscles are a bit sore today and I wanted to see if a good stretch might help. Also Ithink sometimes i need a longer cool down/stretching session at the end of 30min sessions and I was wandering if you could recommend a short (10-15min) video to do that.

i am almost finished with my hit for beginners workout, i alreasy notice improvement. in the 1 minute jacks i no longer go to the modifications after 30-45 seconds. when i see the timer say 15 left, i pick up the pace. i also did another video where i modify the jacks but i did them nomrally. i still ont love jacks but they are more doable.

i miss the diso one as well. it wasnt a favorite but if i remember it had a good variety of the moves. i am close to the end of my current challenge but since feruary is a short month i am debating to repeating the current routine for another week. then starting a new routine. i like my time with jessica. her attitude is both comforting but also makes me want to work harder at times.
I may do the hiit routines as my next challenge

Was sure upset when the Disco Walk was pulled -before I could even finish it!! Its listed as a private video now :-( It was one of my favorites because I liked the music the best. Disco really lends itself to working out. I like the popular music better than the Latin music she favors..

i really enjoy the fall into fitness workouts. the intensity is good and i can do most of the reps of the strength training. i enjoy them. i also like circuits. it helps me stay focused and i use the time efficiently.

I just acquired three of her DVDs and have not seen them yet. I am looking forward to "Build Balance + Inner Strength" first. "Boost Your Metabolism + Muscle" and "5 Fat Burning Miles in Mix & Match Your Miles" are the other two.

i love jessicas videos when she says make it for work or make it it work for you. she jokes about the reality of working out when you have to move around a pet or child. i have neither on a daily basis. my nieces had a sleepover and out house is not kid friendly. they dont like being in the basment on their own and want/need attention. it made me wonder how parents do find time to exercise at home.

i just have to keep thinking - make it work for you

i am giving myself a "go the extra mile" challenge. since it gets dark early and it is a bit colder i will do it indoors. i have not been energetic but i can add 15-20 of low impact to my workouts.

Like she said, you can substitute any video if you don't like her chosen ones. It's about getting exercise in on a regular basis. Not usually a problem for me as I love to exercise. I go to gym fitness classes too. Enjoy a variety.

I did that as well, enjoyed the Peanut cams, but they were kind of distracting. I lover her online videos, they are the most convenient for me as I go back and forth to stay at my Mom's place. I would like to get her DVD's now that they are finally available in Canada. I have her Knockout Body one which was the only one I found here.

Stretching is really good for you. I enjoy doing it after a good workout. I did a few of Jessica's 1 mile walks. I am back home for a few days, enjoying my high speed internet -at my Mom's the videos were not working , they just timed out. They are changing providers so hopefully it will work better when I go back. Today I took 3 fitness classes at the gym, Zumba, Boxercise and Step. I expect I will need some gentle, active recovery tomorrow.

I can walk outside now, but I live in an area that is nothing but pavement which is hard on the joints. Long to stay with my Mom, where she lives close to the river trails and off leash dog park. She takes her dog for swims and I tag along. Ticks are bad though. Had one on the back of my head that gave me a golf ball sized lump for a week, never reacted like that before. Even the poor dog is reacting and she is an outdoor dog used to them!
I do Jessica's barefoot cardio walks as well as the regular ones. Right foot is still too sore for high impact though.

My first workout since double foot surgery -33 minute sundown barefoot cardio. It took me a while before I felt ready to cram my feet into shoes (they were very sensitive and painful!!) As they really did a number on my right foot, I expect it will take even longer this time.

No, the US and Canada have the same system -its the UK system that is different then us, making it even stranger. Maybe its a tariff issue except there are no Canadian fitness stars making videos, really, only ever found one DVD by a Canadian, everything else is US imports.

Hi Pam! I am in Canada and its mysterious to me why the DVD's aren't available here -people in the United Kingdom can get them for crying out loud. Really a slap in the face to America's major trading partner!! So I am stuck with the online videos. Fortunately she has such a variety they never get boring. They aren't that bad quality when you compare them to others online. At least you can put them full screen without borders.

Hi, my name is Pam and have been signed up with jessicasmithtv for a few months but am not a big fan of watching her youtube videos on the computer and exercising to them... I would rather have the professional quality of dvds. I have her walk on dvds and have even printed out a rotation schedule for them. Also, I just typed in the code for 25% off of her new 6 week transformation dvd series... and am excited to start working out with them. I won't have them in time to start the challenge Feb 1st, but will substitute one of her Walk On DVDs until they arrive anywhere from Feb. 3rd tp Feb 6th... and anticipating the opportunity to join your challenge!

I did her workout where you work with a soft ball for the whole video, different and fun, really targeting the core, all standing workout with some high impact moves sprinkled in, also some of the interval walking/jog workouts

I like her dance videos. The Zumba one is 30 min, high energy and is set to 80's music. There are three all together, a disco one that is 37 min and another one that has funky music, but not really that dancy like the other two.

I didn't see that email, or rather, I haven't read it yet. I save all of my favorite YouTube videos on my favorites list in my account so I can pull them up faster. I haven't done any of her workouts in a while though. I was doing SO well with morning workouts but ever since I got sick and then found out I was pregnant I can not seem to drag myself out of bed. :(

Thanks for asking! I did a step workout this morning and it didn't feel too bad, but when I took all the bandaging and padding off, oh boy is there a hole on there, guess I will have to take it more easy now without the protection of that wrapping. I can use corn cushions to protect the area somewhat, but they aren't as thick as what the podiatrist had on there.

That is a shame :-( I have saved e-mails of my favorite workout combos so can go back to them at any time. Was disappointed to see in the latest e-mail the link to this supposedly new walking workout video, turkey trot, just took me back to the workout while you are sick video instead :-(

I was sorry to read the following from this week's email:

Work It Out: This Week's Workout Schedule

Dear Friends,

Please note that we will be discontinuing this weekly work out schedule section at the end of November as we are making some changes to our programming in order to serve you better in the future. We are hard at work on some amazing new programs and features that we'll be introducing in 2016 and can't wait to share them all with you!

We will of course still have our free YouTube videos available on our channel for you to use at any time and you can always build your own schedule as you go. We appreciate your understanding as we transform our offerings and hope you will look forward to joining us for our future programs and challenges.

In the meantime, please enjoy the schedules for the remainder of this month and thanks for moving with us!
