Many years ago my shoulder completely froze from a severe arthritis problem. I had to have some extremely painful physical therapy to unfreeze it. I would cry at the pain then a young mother came in with MS. She had three small children and had to do the therapy to keep moving as much as possible. It was hard for her and I felt so ashamed that I was complaining about something that would get better while she would only get worse through the years. I truly felt God brought this lovely woman in for me to see how bless I truly am. Susan, great going on the bike riding. Mari, I know you will definitely reach your goal with all the hard work you have been doing! I know you can and will do it!!! Hope your hand is doing much better. Mine is ! Callie, Joann, Linda , Shell and anyone else in the team have a wonderful weekend. Hugs to all. Pat

Susan, have a wonderful evening! I'm inspired by your streak. emoticon

It's still so hot out that I'm going to walk on the treadmill today. Both of our computers are all fixed and up and running which is nice esp now that R has a very good computer that works correctly and is fast.

Let's take good care of our bodies today. Visiting the nursing home weekly is a good reminder that we want to be in as good of shape as possible, even to our last day. I admire the people I see there who are working hard on their physical therapy, so they can do as much as possible. My neighbor, in line with the way she has always been, refuses to do PT or even talk to the nurses/staff at the nursing home. Attitude can get you far or it can keep you from accomplishing anything.

Good morning from day 18 on the bike. emoticon

Linda I agree sitting it out might be best for you during the busy harvest season. MAri with all the grass cutting you have a great chance of making that goal.

Cleaning house and shopping for a couple of sweaters this morning, then a bit of self pampering in preparation for a special night out with my man.

Have a great day everyone emoticon

Susan, I know it has to be something that doesn't happen often but if I was eating steak out, I'd not count calories either. emoticon And emoticon on your bike riding streak...plus I hope you strike it rich gambling. emoticon

JoAnn, I think I have some real momentum for the challenge this time so I'm going for broke...I want to be at 145 when the challenge is over and I plan to get there. emoticon

Linda, I'll probably sit the winter challenge out but still log food and exercise. Sometimes I also will still do the challenge knowing that I'm going to try to maintain for that session. But a break from all the official logging and checking in on the team can be very nice and I think I'll be ready for a break after this challenge. I am also going to be logging in the Sammy accountability thread and it's open to anyone who wants to use it so feel free to visit that thread anytime, just to check in or to set a goal for yourself. emoticon

I have a Plan A- Wolfgang Puck Steak and Plan B - The TAP Sportsbar in place for tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. Either way, there will be great steak consumed! I am not going to worry about the calories on this one. It's a very rare, maybe once every 6 months to a year kind of treat.

I have decided not to do the 5% challenge this round, fall is really busy around here with harvest and getting ready for winter that I have no time to spare for all the tracking and daily logging. It really has been refreshing knowing I don't have all that logging in stuff. Beside it didn't help[, after 3 rounds, still weigh the same.

Stopping in to see good morning!

Susan, the steak is quite trendy. I hope it is fabulously delicious! Congratulations with Day 17 of your bike. It is great when it becomes an "OK, let's get it done" instead of a "wish I didn't have to."

Callie, I loved your photos!

Marilyn, I can tell that you are excited about getting started on your challenge! You will rock it!

What are our other team members up to lately?

Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Glad they were able to get the windshield fixed so quickly Marilyn. Good luck with the challenge!

Callie I enjoyed the Williams,AZ pictures! David makes a dashing cowboy and your smile at the slot machine tells me you were having some luck!

Jo I am glad the swimming situation worked out to give you a "self swim" day.

Pat how are you doing today?

I am taking John to Wolfgang Puck steakhouse tomorrow night inside of MGM Grand Detroit Casino. Our meal will be comped so really I am just paying the tip. We are going to play some penny slots first. They have waryu steak. Something I had never heard of before. I googled and it's a certain type of cow. I hope it's delicious!

Day 17 of riding my exercise bike and looking forward to it now instead of dragging myself on to it.

Have a great weekend everyone! Onward & Downward!

Take care of those boo-boos, Marilyn and Pat!

I think I've got my Wednesday tots all switched to my Thursday classes, so that will open up my swim time on Weds. again. The kids are oh-so-adorable!

I have the next two kid classes tonight, and am looking forward to it.

Last night's adult class went great and the new folks were enthusiastic. It was nice to see more of my "regulars" after a break (some were gone for the summer, some just for a few weeks).

I was able to get my walk in today, which I hope will help me stretch out. After two nights of water exercise, including last night's high intensity, I had some leg and foot cramps in the night--just muscles I haven't used as much for the last few weeks telling me that they are still there.

I will get a half hour swim before my kid classes tonight, then my regular water aerobics class. It feels good to be getting back to my regular routines again...

Disappointed to see a data transfer USB cable was not a part of my camera package. Ordered one today that will be here before we leave for Niagara Falls.

I got a really cute shot of Magic looking over my shoulder last night that I will share with you once the cable arrives and I can download it to my computer.

Jo-Ann, you are so busy doing good healthy things! emoticon

Susan, what a feeling to want to move more...I love that feeling...I think it speaks to you having a good attitude. emoticon

Aw Pat emoticon Just so you don't feel alone on the injury, as I was starting my lawn mower again, after emptying the grass bag, I pulled the cord and my right hand finger next to the pinky, hit part of the mower handle and ripped my nail off into the quick part....OUCH!!! Had to go in and trim the nail and now have to have a bandage on that finger...yikes it hurts. So I'll be thinking of you every time I feel my finger hurting which is every time I type on my computer and a bunch of other times. emoticon

We are home from our busy day in town...we have to go out again tomorrow because a rock hit our car windshield, caused a divot, which immediately turned into a growing longer crack. So we will get the windshield replaced tomorrow.

I'm going to sleep good tonight, I'm tired! emoticon

Started off as a great morning. Volunteered at our churches Outreach Program. Was very busy and rewarding. Went to the library and got lots of good reads. THEN, I was getting into the car and reached up to hold on to something and got my thumb caught and wrenched the heck out of it torn some skin around my nail. It really hurts tonight. I can move it so I know it is not broken but sure does hurt. What a dummy! Then I got a phone call that a dear friends Dad died and hung up and got an email that a friends Mother died. Lord have mercy!!!

In preparation for our trip to Niagara Falls in a couple of weeks, and a trip to Chicago later this year, I bought a new digital camera today. It's a Canon Powershot SX400IS, whatever all that means LOL! The battery is charging now and I've downloaded the software driver and owners manual. I added a two year warranty for dropping/falling as that is what happened to my old Olympus digital camera and now the lense cover won't open. Luckily I didn't lose any pictures on the memory card of it as they were already downloaded to the computer.

I also bought a new Amercian Tourister 21 inch overnight case. It was on sale at Amazon for less than half what it costs in local stores.

This has been an expensive, but fun, day! emoticon

Doing a second round of thirty minutes on bike tonight as I am feeling the need to move my body more today. That is a strange thing for me to experience!

Having a busy day, mostly working away from my desk.

My water aerobics classes started up again last night. Two new folks who attended seemed to have fun. My high intensity class also starts tonight.

I'm teaching 2 parent/child classes tonight, too. Enrollment is low for these 2 classes tonight, so I'll teach them for tonight, but if a few more people don't sign up by class time the aquatic director may combine them with some of my other classes on Thurs. or Sat. Enrollment is fine for the rest of the kiddly classes. (I "inherited" this pair of classes from another instructor who has retired. I'm happy to help out, but the extra night cuts into my own swimming time so I'd prefer to combine them with the other classes that I teach.)

I do think Windows 8 to Windows 10 works better than Windows 7 to Windows 10, usually, from what I've been reading.

Today we will be in town for R's PT therapy session and to visit the neighbor in the nursing home. I spent a few hours mowing last night. It's amazing how much grass we have this year but it's good exercise to mow it. emoticon

Wow there are sure a lot of problems with Windows 10 for folks. Once the rest of the updates loaded, mine has been working great. But, I went from 8.1 to 10 so that may have made a difference.

I used up the last two grilled chicken breasts tonight (well 1 1/2 and the other 1/2 was cut up for the cats) to make a stir fry with onions, mushrooms and corn. Served atop some rice and sweet & sour sauce. I will eat the other 1/2 of that tomorrow. It was tasty, however, the grilled chicken caused the dish to have an "off" color.

R and I went as far as we could go with Microsoft about my computer being totally messed up and they admit it's their fault and they would fix my computer for free if we drove it almost 500 miles to one of their physical stores. That would have cost us so much and I didn't feel good about mailing it to a store either so we used a local place to fix my computer. It wasn't even as simple as wiping everything off it and starting over because the bios were very messed up too.

All we has besides that computer was R's old XP computer that barely worked anymore so we bought a new computer for me and R got my not very old computer. It's nice to have two good computers now. Microsoft is causing a lot of trouble for people with the upgrades...it works for some but it's not working at all for others.

I hope the visit with your neighbor goes well.

I'm glad it isn't just me with the computers, Marilyn. I joke about not being very tech-savvy, but I actually am fairly competent with many computer things (much more so than several co-workers, plus I am methodical and fairly logical). I get so frustrated when I can't get things to work right. I was so upset yesterday and this morning that I was hoping T would understand and deal with it today, but to him it isn't such a big deal. He worked on another project instead today. Sigh. I'll have to be patient until he gets around to making calls or taking it in to the computer repair shop.

Susan, R and I are really doing a lot of research and discussion on supplements, foods, and other things that can help him. It's very interesting and in the end, we are both making healthier decisions.

Now that our neighbor has had the "chemical restraint" drugs taken away, she has been specifically asking about Robert and me. So it will be good that we see her on Wed.

JoAnn, I upgraded my computer to Windows 10 from 7 and it destroyed it...I'm computer savvy but the bios and other things got messed up deeper than I could fix myself. Had to take my computer to professional techs for the first since I've owned a computer. Now it's back to 7 and I'm not upgrading until I'm sure they have fixed the 7 to 10 problems.

Re-entry seems a little tough this Tuesday morning.
We are having a heat wave, and so the last couple of nights have been very humid, not good for getting much sleep.

I had a good time at the 3 Saints Festival on Saturday. I got lots of small chores done around the house.

Tried to update our home computer, but ran into problems and wasted several hours. I've now delegated to T to get us some help with getting it back up. (I was trying to update in order to run a "check my PC" to see if the computer will be suitable for upgrading from dial-up (gasp, how old fashioned) to DSL or FIOS.

Susan, thanks for filling us in on the rest of the song...interesting. emoticon Wish I could eat with you...BBQ chicken and the fixin's sounds great.

Pat, stay away from those allergens...I'd eat inside too. I'd love a two hour massage...I've never had a massage before...we are seriously thinking of getting R some kind of work for his feet, such as reflexology or acupressure or something. He woke up last night and couldn't move one of his legs from the knee down because it was cramping so badly. I'm going to look into what supplement might help him...he's 'only' taking 14 supplements now. emoticon

Today is a holiday but R has to work a full shift because so many aircraft are coming into the base or doing training. Good thing is that he gets double time pay so he will always work holidays if it is an option. He's second in seniority so he can usually get all holidays.

Right now R is doing oxygen therapy before he goes to work so that is adding 3 hours of (stuff to do, including driving) to his day, which keeps me hopping here since I need to take care of home things that he would do. He has two more weeks of that and then he'll have more time in his day.

We are going to do a big day Wed again, together, with doctors appts and visiting our neighbor at the nursing home. She is a major handful for the staff and they were using "chemical restraint" as her nursing friend calls it, so they had her super doped up. They are supposed to back off now and it will be interesting to visited her to see if she can communicate better.

Mari, I cannot picture Susan and John in a tree!! lol. Big Smile typing!! At the kissing stage uh Susan!! Well, is he a good kisser?? My hubby sure is. Loves to cuddle too which is always great. I am so glad you have someone to share things with Susan. It is very hot here today with high humidity. My allergies are terrible, sneezing like crazy, itchy eyes and I am inside!! Will not be going out. Having our son in law over for dinner which will be eaten inside. Our daughter has been keeping in touch from Manila. She said the traffic there is insane. So glad she does not have to drive in it. They have their own driver while she is there. Got some sightseeing in. They had to go into some slum areas and she said the little kids were begging. Broke her heart but they were told not to do anything. Her hotel is very high end and she has been using their pool and spa. She said an incredible two hour massage is only $35.00. So glad it is going well with her. Cannot wait until she is home ! Have a great day everyone!

After breakfast I headed to the grocery store and farm market with plans to BBQ chicken breasts and make fresh corn, grilled mushrooms and baked potatoes to go with it. Called my sister to see how she's doing, and decided to invite her and two of her kids (ages 32 and 39) over to enjoy the BBQ with me this afternoon.

At first I was worried I didn't have enough chairs as my new dining table only came with two, then remembered I could just bring in my two patio chairs from my bistro set on the porch. It will be nice to have them here to spend some time with me.

Tomorrow I am going with a few members of our singles group to Henry Ford Museum. It's free admission day (normally $18 plus $5 to park). I have an annual pass so for me it's more of a way to share somewhere I enjoy with others.

I've cleaned out my car interior and the upholstery on the seats, need to do some light housework before the family arrives.

Onward & Downward!

Marilyn I know ALL the words to that little song, but I thing we'll skip the marriage and baby carriage lines! We have been very clear with each other that neither of us is looking for another spouse (with the right to change our minds in the future). For now, it's taking it's own sweet, slow course and I like it that way.

Cracker Barrel is somewhere I go maybe once every five years. It was John's choice and I am easy going enough to go with the flow. As long as it's not a shrimp place. I can't stand shrimp, feels rubbery in my mouth. Ugh.

Awakened at 4:30 AM by Houdini wanting to lay on my head. I think Calico sent him! Finished 30 minutes on the bike and having my coffee.

Thanks Pat. Manila, WOW that's a long way off! I hope she has safe travels and memorable experiences.

After bowling with John, we went to Cracker Barrel for dinner, then sat on a bench on their "porch" and talked for over an hour. Afterwards he walked me to my car, and kissed me goodnight, 3 times! OK TMI perhaps, it was just the first time he kissed me and I so appreciate him waiting until date #4 for that and being such a gentleman. I feel like a teenager.

Hi everyone. I pray everyone has a great holiday. Happy bowling Susan. Know you and John will have a fun time. Callie, I know you will have a great time with your family. Will hopefully give you a much needed break. Our youngest daughter Tina flew to Manila today on business. It is a very long flight. She was both nervous and excited as she is going first class all the way and will be away from her family who she is very close to. Went to the library and food store today. Was really toasty out. Susan, you are doing great on your bike riding. I am really hoping the weather will cool down soon so I can go out walking with my hubby, Just too dang hot right now. Take care everyone. Hugs to all. Good Morning!

Marilyn it sounds like you really needed that extra sleep. I fell asleep on the couch last night about an hour after dinner, woke up for an hour and then went to bed. I'm all caught up on my sleep now too :)

Day 11 of bike. Woke with slight stiffness in my knees and told myself to at least try it. They feel fine now.

I work this morning and have a date with John this afternoon to go bowling and out for pizza. No major plans yet for Sunday and Monday. I may just follow Jo's lead an relax!

I did pick up a package of chicken breasts at the store that I might BBQ and then package and freeze the extras. We'll see how the weather is. If not, I can package them for the freezer as is and just cook one on the Foreman grill inside.

Happy Saturday all! emoticon

Callie, my business day wore me out too. Yesterday I had spent a while on the phone with the computer tech and also there was a 5 way texting thing with my neighbor's two guardians and her two friends about her care...that went on for a few hours although I was barely involved and just reading the texts. I laid down for a nap and slept 3 hours, only getting up because Calico woke me up...then went back to bed for the night...I sure was tired.

Have fun at the cabin. emoticon

Jo-Ann, enjoy this slow weekend before you have classes on Sat. emoticon

Good Morning.

emoticon Callie. Enjoy the wildflowers and your time away.

Jo I will cross my fingers for you to get that day to yourself.

I had a rough night last night with insomnia and finally drifted off around 3 am. Slept late this morning, on bike now. I know if I wait until tonight it will not happen.

I will be ok. Just window's emotions which I've learned to accept and let the tears flow.

Oh dear, Callie, those middle of the night wakeups can't be any fun. I remember my great aunt wandering around our house in the middle of the night doing similar things.

This will be my last Saturday without classes for a while so I will make the most of it (and the rest of the long weekend).

T has Sat. off, too (instead of the Monday holiday). We plan to go to a small Italian saints festival in the next city, where I get my annual big treat of a sausage and peppers and onions sandwich and a canoli. We aren't Italian or religious, but I grew up with Italian neighbors and their wonderful food, and I always used to go in to Boston's Italian district for some of the summer saints festivals, so this is a bit of fun nostalgia for me that is closer to home and has fewer crowds. There will be small parades, a torchlight procession, and a small carnival, plus a few performers.

I'll be swimming my laps Fri., Sat., and Sunday, and walking at the festival.

The rest of the weekend will be about tackling some chores and getting stuff ready for my classes, etc., plus I plan to savor a little bit of summer by trying to make sure I get to do a few things I don't want to miss out on--like taking time to drink my coffee out on the deck one morning. I don't know T's schedule for Monday yet, but I am hoping to have some time to myself--the Y is closed, so no need to rush off to the pool.

Good a/m

I have a few minutes....D is still asleep. He got up at 2:00 a/m and took a shower. I waited til he was out of the shower and told him the time. He then, looked at the clock. I asked him why he was taking a shower and he only said " because"...I let it go at that as a discussion was not necessary. He came back to bed but was up about 45 minutes later putting on his pants...I said..."not even 3...come back to bed". He said something but I couldn`t make it out so I didn`t respond. Guess he finally decided to stay in bed.

Doing grocery shopping later for the coming weekend. Then will go check on my sisters` house...she is still in San Diego. Coming back in Nov. Then we will visit our friends...then home to pack. Easier today to do as much packing as possible.

We have acquired a stray rooster. I chased it out once...I think it lives on the corner ...but it came back. He crows all the time. He is very pretty so I guess he can stay.

Susan.....exercising is not something I have been diligent with. Wish I were.

Marilyn.....your day business wore me out.

JoAnn...what plans do you have for the weekend?

Pat...yes I am looking forward to the cabin. Thought I would have gone up today but decided to go early tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing the wild flowers and visiting with my daughter and he family.

Guess...that is all for now. emoticon

Good Morning!

Callie I am also an infrequent leg shaver as I mostly wear long pants or long skirts. I do shower frequently though :)

Marilyn you might need to wear earplugs when you lock Calico out. That would not work with Houdini as he'd try to crawl under the door.

Jo, I hear you on the tracking.

Day 9 of 40 of my self-exercise challenge. 9 days of 30 minutes on bike each day. I am starting to feel the results, and I like them!

Onward & Downward

Good morning, everyone. Had a nice walk before work. I'm trying to get back to logging my food on Spark. I stopped doing that when things got too busy, but I need to get back to it again. Not much new to report.

Hugs to everyone!

Callie, I use living out here in the boonies as an excuse to not shave my legs very often. Robert doesn't buy my excuse. emoticon It helps that even though I have brown hair, I have blond hair on my arms and legs (if I let any light get to them). I do try not to let anyone but R see my hairy legs and will shave them if they are going to be seen in public. emoticon

I do always shower once a day though, sometimes twice with all the hard dirty work we can do around here. Also brushing the dogs and cats can sometimes merit another shower since I'm allergic to them but usually I make sure I brush them before I jump into the shower. emoticon

Susan, Calico didn't allow me to sleep at all last night. I think I'm going to really make her sleep outside of the bedroom tonight although it makes me feel sad to hear her cry. But she's not critically ill so she should be able to handle a night without me...I never made Waddles sleep in another room or Super Tiny either, once he was so sick but Calico is doing just fine and playing trampoline on my head all night long. emoticon

Pat, we are all looking forward to fall and some relief from the heat. It was 103 here today. emoticon

This was a busy day in town, with R doing his Exercise with Oxygen Therapy, dropping a trailer tire off at Discount Tires, seeing his neurologist, picking up the tire, and then visiting my neighbor in the nursing home that she lives in now. We didn't get home until after 6:30.

The neuro visit was very productive and we came home with more reading material, after the neuro muttered, "apparently you are both very medical minded"because of our questions...so he printed up scientific papers to back up what he says...R has been impatient with getting better and the doctor explained how this will take a long time...I'm very much with the doctor that this is the way to go rather than risking high, long term doses of steroids.

My neighbor is giving the staff at the nursing home fits because she will not stay in bed if they leave her room and has no strength at all and is very far from being able to stand up. So she is falling all the time. Now they keep her in the big main room in a wheel chair except for bed time and she's always saying she wants to go to bed. They now know that as soon as they put her in bed and leave the room, she tries to get out of bed. She is very confused and weak and I don't see her every being able to live without nursing care but she could talk to us today.

Susan....the 20th is not too far away....ENJOY!

I forgot to tell you ladies something...yesterday at my blood donation, I looked down at my legs while I was laying in the chair for the blood draw...I had on pedal pushers and discovered I had forgotten to shave my legs. emoticon VERY obviously had black hairs poking out, everywhere, about 1/8 in. I tried to cross my legs but thought they would only have me uncross them which would bring more attention . I thought about making a joke of it but was too embarssed to.

It was so embarrassing.

Going out to lunch today with a friend....shaved and showered. emoticon

emoticon No for your home pool advantage soon!
emoticon Callie I hope you enjoy the time away. You may have hit on something to entertain R enough to give you a break. Robert Redford movies. Great!
emoticon Marilyn I can just picture that 16 year old kitten at heart.
emoticon Pat we need to do a rain dance for you.

Magic is now 3.4 pounds. She needs to be over 5 pounds before she can be spayed. The vet is concerned that her as sternum has not grown enough to protect her heart yet. This is a birth defect which may create problems for her in the future, but so far she is healthy and full of delight.

Callie my vacation starts September 20th. My Sister and I are going to Niagara Falls for two nights.

Hot and humid here yesterday and for the next couple of days. I'm looking forward to Fall, my favorite time of year.

Good Evening All! Mari, you and Robert are such an inspiration with all the checking out of medical things and diet. You not only look into things but you apply what you find out! I am so proud of you!!! Glad you got some computer time on your own Callie! I know you must be really looking forward to going back to your cabin. You always seem to really enjoy being there. Today was very hot and humid here today so I had to stay in. Not overly happy about it but very thankful for an understanding hubby when I got a bit grumpy. Going to be for the next few days , September is coming in hot!! We really need rain badly as the lawns are starting to brown. Hubby has kept flowers watered for me though. Hope all of us sleep well tonight and have a Wonderful Wednesday!!!

Through Christ and with Christ all things are possible!

Hellooooooooooooo

I meant to check in yesterday but I got involved in watching a series on Netflix called Longmire. Started at 5:30 and watched til 10:30. D went to bed at 10:00

Marilyn...I am also impressed with R...he is doing an amazing job and so are you.

Susan.....on vacation??? wahoo!! do something really fun!

Pat......It is a warm day here today as well but the humidity must be down.

JoANN......I know you can`t wait for your old pool to open.

Donated blood today...my iron was at 14.4....up even from last time I donated. Needs to be at least 13. Afterwards went to Costco and had pizza. They said no caffine for the next 4 hours after donate....in my mind..."I said "yea...right!!!"

Some challenging times in my past days with D...but I am hanging in there. Tearful for me yesterday as I was "so done" with all this stuff that dementia causes. Today is a better day.

Will be going to the cabin on Thursday. ...til maybe next Tuesday.

I am on here without D as he is watching a good movie. Noticed that he was enthralled so I snuck on here. emoticon It is Robert Redford in a movie called "All is Lost"

Had a few rains since I last was here. Very nice as now my front grass is green. Tax lady never ha brought over that electric lawn mower. D may have to cut it again using the weed eater. It did pretty good last time.

Pet peeve of mine is when others do not follow though with what they say. Makes me more aware of trying to keep my word.

Hope to be back again soon. emoticon

JoAnn - emoticon for your old pool reopening soon! I know my lawn mowing has been very instrumental to me being able to maintain my weight until the Fall 5% Challenge starts in a few weeks. emoticon

Susan - our little Waddles had all these small soft toys that we called her babies. She'd carry them all over the house, often yowling. Now that Calico, her sister, is in the main house, she is carrying all of Waddles toys around. I didn't know if I could manage seeing Waddles toys after she was gone but seeing Calico with them makes me happy. Calico takes things farther by carrying around big stuffed toys too, even though they drag the floor. I'll put her 15 or so toys in a basket and she'll have them all out by the end of the day. She plays like a kitten at the age of 16. emoticon

Doing a quick check-in before work. I've had a nice walk. I'll be swimming laps tonight. (That Y is a little trickier to get to in traffic, but I only have to do it this week because my own Y pools will reopen after Labor Day.

Hugs to you all!

Magic sounds adorable with all her little treasures, Susan! Keep on riding that bike! emoticon

Marilyn, keep pushing that lawn mower! emoticon

Woohoo, I'm trying to re-energize myself for fall, although it is unusually warm here to start off September1

Oh yes Marilyn, those cords multiply like rabbits! I used Velcro cable ties from the dollar store to keep them together. I am loving the new gateway as it sits on my bookshelf out of the way. The old stuff was visible and ugly. Plus it has given me faster service, so far. I stopped at UPS yesterday to return the old router and modem with the prepaid shipper they gave me.

On my bike as I woke up early. Magic has vet appointment tonight. Hopefully she has gained enough to get the last of her shots before being spayed. She is such a funny little kleptomaniac. She will stick her head in my purse to steal a slip of paper, like a store receipt, and then go prancing through the house with it.. bottle caps and milk jug rings are treasures for both of them.

Hope everyone has a great day! emoticon
