I would like a weight loss buddy! I'm a 45-year old married mom, two boys, ages 7 & 9. I homeschool them so often my workouts include them (walking, biking). I am a member of Weight Watchers. I have lost 20 lbs. but lately I haven't been following it the way I should.

First of all, thanks for taking the lead in the group Hawtgranny. Secondly, yes- I could definitely use a partner and some encouragement. I am in a bit of a slump right now and while I have stayed in my calorie range pretty consistently, I haven't been to the gym nearly as often as I should.

I am 38, married with an 8 year old son and three teenage and older stepsons. I live in Minnesota and the prolonged winter is killing me right now. I can't stand it anymore! I graduated with my RN degree in December and passed boards last month. Right now I am job searching (part of what has had me in a slump recently). My 8 year old has Aspergers (an Autism Spectrum Disorder) and keeps me really busy.

I have lost about 24 pounds of the 40+ that I put on while in school last year. My plan has been watching calories while still allowing myself to have an occasional treat (within my range) and going to the gym 3-6 x week. I haven't however been to the gym in a few days and I feel like I need to recharge myself. I also smashed my left shoulder really badly about 5 years ago and have a bit of residual weakness from that so I really need to keep up the strength training for that particularly.

If you would like a buddy to help support your journey and to talk to about it, sign up here. Put your interests and something about yourself. Then if there are a few, read about them and ask them to be your buddy. We sometimes just need a little help and push to keep going. This is not easy but will be more fun with a friend.
