trying to get back. I took a few weeks off tracking but I know I need to get back into it.
didn't help that I was eating home-made pizza one week and just didn't have to motivation to track it.

I'm still here!!! Like the turtle I move slowly but still moving. LOL I am doing great on exercise but found out that I do better with 1 change at a time. Walking 2 times a day and a lot in between. Now that it has become a necessary in my life I am going to add eating healthy. After this has become a great habit I will work on building muscle. One step at a time. emoticon emoticon

I will try and try again until I get it right!!!

I'm laughing at myself today, usually I fill a few water bottles to take with me to school and the gym to make sure I get my 8+ glasses of water, but today I decided to stay home. I still have all my water bottles ready to go but I've been drinking out of the pitcher... no idea if I've have 3 or 6 glasses of water today. :P

I'm still here.
I think it's clicked for me this time - I'm finding it easy to measure my foods, make better food choices and the Spark Activity Tracker is really motivating.
My initial goal was to lose 1 pound a week and I've exceeded that goal.

I'm still here and going strong! I am enjoying this new lifestyle of getting up and starting my day feeling good about me. I am grateful for that! I had just loss 39 lbs before joking Spark People and since have lost 5 more...life is good! Off to the pool for my morning exercise ...everyone have a great day!

I'm still here and doing well. I am training for another 5K (my second) coming up on the 23rd, and then will run another 5K in December. I have a running partner and together we are training for a 10K that will be held next April. Things are going well nutrition-wise too, I think. I haven't had soda for over three weeks now, and honestly don't miss it. I wasn't much of a soda drinker to begin with, though, maybe 2-3x per week, so giving it up wasn't too difficult. I'm not sure if I've actually lost weight. I know from past experience that I can get really obsessive about the number on the scale, so I only officially weigh once a month. November weigh-in is still a week-and-a-half away.

I hope everyone is doing well with their nutrition and fitness plans! emoticon

Hi there! I'm doing good with the exercise and staying within my calories but I beat myself up yesterday over less than optimal food choices. Dealing with a lot of emotions, trying to relax, keep a positive attitude and trust the system. It sure is working so far!

I am taking Kanchanar Guggulu to make sure my thyroid is working optimally. It's a supplement. Read about it and maybe it will work for you. I have been taking it along with exercise and trying to get my water in. I haven't seen major weight loss yet I am wearing my 10 year old's t shirt. (Grabbed it out of the dryer this morning without paying attention) I could not have done that a month ago.

I have been bouncing between a buck fifty/sixty for over a year. I think the supplement has helped.

Hi -- I'm still here, but just learning to use all of the Sparkpeople features. I have been doing light exercise every week (moderate walking usually 6 days a week, and light weights 2 days a week), and I have been very careful with my diet, for about the past 2 years, but on and off sometimes: For example, last week was both my husband's and my son's BDs and I had cake and ice cream. The next day, I walked a lot, drank a lot of water, and went very low carb and high protein.
Still, I am stuck now in the mid-140s, whereas a year ago I was stuck around 138 (my goal is 127 - 133, I am 5'4"). I still get periods but am really starting to suspect there is a hormonal imbalance somewhere that is causing my weight to be stuck, whether it be menopausal, thyroid, insulin, cortisol, -- I guess those are the main offenders in the hormone department.
I'll try to get on here weekly and update. Good luck to everyone else in their healthy journey!

I used to have a problem doing that when I would see the first signs of results. It was as if I were done. This time, I know that pit fall so I am more conscious of my short comings. Since I am doing the 30 day shred, I know the exercise changes in ten days. I won't get too comfortable with it.

I am also very careful not to burn myself out within the first two weeks. I would push myself insanely hard for a couple of weeks. When I figured out I couldn't keep up the pace I would quit.

My plan: Record my success. Be thrilled with it but move to the next rung. Moderation, it doesn't happen at once.

As for the diet, I am doing the 8 Hour Diet. I love the simplicity. I am however finding the 8 glasses of water to be a little bit of a stumbling block.
