I just started Q today. Need to lose 70 lbs. I really don't know what plan I should be following other than eat healthy & reduce carbs & sugar. Any recommendations?

Sounds like you're on track. Good for you!

At my age, 63, I'm taking it a lot slower than you.

I dropped 30+ pounds during the 6 months I was taking Q.

Then I took a couple of months off to give my body a break from the medication and to maintain the weight on my own.

I went back to the doctor this week and he was pleased. So, he prescribed the Q for me again.
I'm waiting for the insurance approval to come through.

My goal is to knock off another 30 pounds, rest and do it again....until I reach my final goal.

Hi,
I'm on my 7th day on the initial dosage, managing my nutrition through the nutrition tracker eating whole foods, all prepared by be aiming for about 1000 calories a day, with no simple carbs or bread. I was at 208lbs last week, I've had my head in the sand over. Last year I put on another 15lbs or so and it just sat there. Prior to that the weight has crept up over the last decade or so. I am ready to get the weight off and make a change.

I feel OK on the dose, I am drinking over 100 ounces of water a day, even at that my lips were chapped yesterday. I have been getting up at 3AM or so but eventually am able to fall asleep.

I feel completely able to make good decisions, there were cupcakes on the counter, muffins and other stuff ( my daughter had a sleepover) didn't touch it.

I have started exercising a bit, feel good about that.

Looking for success stories, anyone???
