can you do 10- minutes in the morning then more at night? it counts the same even if you do j10 mins at a time.....

I try to get my workouts in early before the day starts. Sometimes that doesn't work, and I split it up to fit into my day.

I also keep motivational pics, i.e., an outfit I'd really like to get, motivational quotes, handy to remind myself what I'm working towards. Check out the motivational quotes on SP both under the INSTANT MOTIVATION under Articles & Videos Tab above, or those posted by fellow Sparkers.

And lastly make a game out your activities. The more fun I'm having the more likely I will do what needs to be done and keep doing what I need to. Adding upbeat music to the mix, also helps me.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Something I find really helps when I am "stuck" as you've been feeling is to 1) do just what you've done: post your troubles to SparkTeams and see what advice you get. It can be helpful to be a member of smaller SparkTeams where you get to know each other and find their feedback more personalized. Also 2) blog your struggles and visit other blogs and share with them what you've been able to do or find difficult to do. With our SparkFamily I find that when we pay our Spark forward it is repaid many times over from others.

If finding time to workout is difficult you can start by focusing on improving the healthiness of your food choices. Bulk up on water intake, avoid beverage calories.

If working out when you come home has worked in the past, take a look at how you MADE it work before and try to replicate your strategies. I'm an evening workout person also and I find it helps me when I put everything together before I leave the house for the day and take my duffel bag with me so that I head straight to my fitness center after work. If I had to go home first...? I doubt I'd ever pry myself away for my workouts.

Good luck, put some time, thought and effort into it and I think you will find yourself pulling out of this trough in no time flat! :-)

Hi all! So I've been a member on and off here for years and have found this site totally useful to lose some extra pounds and cook healthy. I lost 13 lbs two years ago and managed to keep it off...until this past winter. I can't seem to regain the motivation to lose it again! And I'm just disgusted with my body and loss of muscle tone from not working out as much these past 6 months. I'm not a morning person so AM workouts aren't good, and I'm so tired when I get home from work that I usually don't end up working out till 8pm...I used to be able to come home and work out right away, now I've just lost the motivation to get back in my routine exercising and counting calories so lose this again. Help!
