I had almost lost ALL the weight I wanted to lose...save 1.5 lbs.!!!! Then, I got too cocky and decided it was sooooo easy, so I slacked off! Slacked off watching what I ate...slacked off exercising! Ok. So, I gained back about 10 lbs.! Now, I am on the way down again. Have about 8 to go. Altogether, I have lost over 60 lbs.

Boy do I know about belly fat! That is the absolute worst part of my whole body. Walking seems to help the most and it does take a very long time for that bulge to get smaller. Keep working at it...slow and sure..it will happen. emoticon

I have lost some weight. But it seems like I still have the blob around my belly . I have been doing core exercises. I can see that the bulk of the fat has diminished but their is still this blob that is taking so long to dissappear. The more that I do the exercises I know one day it will be flat(my belly)
It is just frustrating all the work that I put into this and yet I still battle with the buldge.

Sounds interesting. Not ready for that yet. I am on the plateau but I am loosing inches and firming right now so I will wait. Have thought about going to one of the cities gyms and getting a trainor there.

SPEECHDIVA: P90X is a set of videos. The idea behind the name? P stands for power. 90 stands for the 90 days it supposed to take to get ripped. And X stands for extreme.

They claim they're different because they use something called "muscle confusion". If you're interested just google it and click a link to find out more.

We ate out twice. I notice that makes it harder even though I seem to intake less food over all. Sunday I basically skipped one meal and I wonder if that hurt too. I gained 2 pounds.

For two weeks I've been stuck at the same weight. Just got off the scale this AM and am feeling quite discouraged! I'm tracking every morsel that goes in my mouth and walking holes in the soles of my sneaks, but something has got me stuck. Any insights, anyone???

Still, I will have a good day...because I can! Hope you all do to as well!

I'm not doing very well right now. Playing around with the same 3 or 4 pounds...up and down. I really have to start walking again and I have to stop eating late at night. Today is a beautiful day in New York so it's a great time to get those sneakers on and get busy. Have a great day everyone!

I have been stuck for three weeks. I need to loose 50 or more pounds for health reasons. I am trying to exercise more and make sure that I get all of the foods in that I should. It is really frustrating.

I'm having a tough time for some reason. I lose a few pounds, then eat someting I love, like Chinese food, and the pounds are back up for a couple of days. So, I'm in a slow (but downward) weight loss mode with lots of back and forth on the scale.

On a good note, the weight IS going down - just very slowly.

I belong to a Tops group and we get weighed on Tuesday evenings. I only joined on Wednesday so I haven't had a weigh in yet bit I have lost 9 pounds in the last 3 weeks. This is a great site.

So far, I'm down 3.5 lbs.

I did not change my diet too much, but I did cut out the snacks and made the portions smaller. Plus, I have been exercising.

My weight is not as good as I would like it to be.
My clothes fit a little nicer. I also realize this takes time. My weight goes all to my waist and stomache. I am very short waisted. I belong to a bootcamp, and will be getting measured this Friday.
I will drop, if I don't see some good results.
My son is getting Married next August. I want to have an awsome chic, flowing dress. Hope I started soon enough to get rid of this.

I'm a newbie to SP, but I've been on a diet since I was diagnosed with diabetes in April. I belong to a weight loss thread in a diabetic forum and we weigh in every Monday (I have no idea why it's Monday). Anyway this week I lost 2.5 pounds and 1 inch off my waist.

I noticed that yesterday when I was taking my body measurements, that where my belly used to take some space in my pants , now that's all that is there is space. I guess it is time to try a smaller size of pants. Even as I am working , I notice that I almost feel like I am swimming in my pants, you know with all that added space now. It feels good . It feels really good. Sparkpeople I am glad that I had found you. I am seeing results. My whole family is seeing results. Thank You. For this site.

My weight progress is going great. I am seeing results when I put on my shirts. I can see my waist coming back and getting into shape again. I know it is not as easy as snapping your fingers and making all the fat disappear. But, I have come to the point where I am that I struggled down a long road of good eating and the right exercise. I realize that it will take time. But, also I am happy in seeing the results that I have been seeing in the mirror. Thank you Sparkpeople for having this available to me.

I have been going smoothly with my eating and exercises. I know that at times I find myself not doing the exercises as I should, but I make it up the next day. I have seen some progress and my eating habits have changed a bit. I cut out all red meat and substituted salad for the meat. emoticon

I have attained my original goal to lose 55 pounds. You will see I still have a couple pounds left on my weight ticker. I'm just giving myself a little push to have some "cushion".
