My thoughts and prayers go out to the people in the path of these storms. They are just doing so much more damage as they are hitting more populated areas. In Mid Tenn where my family is located has been having a lot of these storms cross over in the last few years/ I seem to remember my Grandmother talking about all the bad tornadoes etc in that area in the late 20's and then they were not around for many years in the area but are returning. I also believe that the heat of the area helps draw them in and a high populated area is hotter than the open plains

Keep on track

It does seem like there are more anomalies in the weather than there used to be.

Again, the devastation of Oklahoma is so tragic. Prayers going out to them.

The weather has really been mixed up here, but my prayers goes out to everyone in Oklahoma.

I agree that our weather recently has seemed bizarre. Last March was so warm that we had flowers blooming a month early. This year we had measurable snow the first week of May. The news said that Moore, OK had a similar storm in 1999. My college roommate lives in Piedmont, just north and slightly west of Oklahoma City so I was quick to check the maps. After losing most of their house in a tornado 20 years ago, their new house has a large berm across the front so it almost looks as if it is growing out of the ground.

Lost 65 lbs and maintained since 2006.

Truly heartbreaking situation. My thoughts and prayers go out to those affected.

Sure puts things in perspective though.

I don't have problems.

Is it just me or have there been a lot more weather disasters the last few years. Maybe I am just starting to notice them.

What happened in Oklahoma is really terrible. I can't imagine devastation like that. Truly.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Oklahoma who have experienced first hand the most devastating loss of control, loss of life, loss of property, loss of everything we tend to cling to.
