This is a true story. My sister was going to the mall with her 2 kids, ages 15 and 13. They were stopped in traffic and her daughter (13) notices the bumper sticker on the car in front of them and reads out loud, "Save the ta ta's", what she says?????

Before my sister could answer her son 15 says, you know Rachael, like when someone says, Ta Ta for Now. .......my sister burst into laughter, and yet thrilled at both there innocence.

She said, it is for Breast Cancer Awareness, meaning save breast from cancer, the daughter says, OH okay, the son says, Yuck, OMG really, MOM~~~~~

Her son was truly caught off guard and so embarrassed when she told my husband, daughter and I. I thought it was cute, and told him he didn't have to feel bad not knowing the meaning of the bumper sticker, and gave him a hug. We will all remember this for years to come. LOL

I have a cute story about my daughter that happened when she was about three. Jeni was born with the prettiest auburn hair that has many gold highlights in it. In the sunlight it shines like a beacon. I have never seen this color on any other person to date. We were at a small town barbecue in Idaho. As we stood in line this huge biker was in front of us, waiting patiently to get to the food. This giant of a man turned and smiled at Jeni and asked politely where she got that beautiful hair. Jeni, who was a tiny person looked up at him and smiled back, then just as politely said "my Mom left me out in the rain and I rusted." She cracked up the entire line of people waiting to get some barbecue. To this day I have no idea where a three year old would come up with a punch line like that, but it was precious.

Okay so this is a true story that happened recently.

A few weeks ago, hubby, daughter and I got a rental car to go running around. On the way to the store shopping I kept noticing this button on the rear view mirror, that said ON. Hubby and I frequent a rental car place in our area neighborhood and we are always getting different cars. He is always looking them over, glove box, where the gas tank is (*which side of the car) windows, doors, radio, you name it. I always caution him to not be pushing buttons when I am driving as we don't know anything really about the car.

Well this day I was curious and so I pushed the ON button on the mirror, thinking maybe there was a light on it for map reading, whatever.

Well I no more than pushed that button and I hear a phone ringing ( I knew it wasn't our cell phones), then a voice said Hi, this is so and so from On Star what is your Emergency. OMG you can only imagine my reaction........My hubby is doing all he can to keep his composure as is my daughter in the back seat.

I said, Oh OH I am so sorry, I pushed the wrong button. He said no problem, if there is no emergency I will just cancel the call. I apologized and he hung up and their I sat stunned. I was afraid they would call the rental agency and report me, that it would be like when you falsify a 911 call, my family is loosing it.

Then we get to the store and there sets an unidentified police car and my hubby said, " You really did it now," he knows your location and is probably saying, there she is in the red car, coming this way, now she is parking. He is teasing me and the daughter is laughing to tears.

My hubby assured me they would not call the rental place, I was not in trouble but this trip just has to be shared, and one experience I will never forget, and neither will they.

Hi team, we all have those days when we blunder, mind is a little foggy, or we say something and then laugh and say where did that come from and why did I just say that. I have this happen often, I call them my Senior Moments.

But with that said there are times our curiosity can lead us to doing funny things, so this is where we share.
