I worked in the yard for about an hour pulling weeds in my grand daughters and grandsons play area. Then did some heavy cleaning in the house for about 30 minutes. I know I worked hard because I was sweating by the time I was finished. Stayed within calorie range

I worked for 4 hours in the yard today!!! I'm hurting all over but my yard is looking nicer and soon the flowers will be out.

I didn't get to seep until 6 am so I am sluggish and giving myself a day off to relax and hopefully I will have more energy tomorrow. I'm reading and doing a bit of crocheting on a toy horse for my great nephew.

Hope everyone Had a Wonderful Easter Weekend. My computer is still down. I am using my husbands, but have printed off a few exercises to follows along with my gym classes. It looks like I will not have it back until next week sometime or not at all. Not sure what is wrong with it. I am not willing to pay an outrageous price to fix it either. So I may just have to come and go like I have been doing.
Good luck to all the rest of the team.
Wish me luck on staying away from chocolate and ice-cream for the most part. I have been doing pretty good sticking to a healthy eating plan. I don't like to say diet, because that word stops me every time. An eating plan is better for me.

HAPPY EARTH DAY TO EVERYONE!!!
For the first day this year I was able to go and do some much needed work in my flowerbeds. My granddaughter was here and gave me a helping hand. I only was able to clean up half of my longest flowerbed that runs down almost the full length of the side yard. It was so nice to see the spring plants peeking out of the ground finally.
Emotionally, physically and mentally I feel as though I have had to drag myself through the day because everything I did felt like I was struggling. Glad it's almost bedtime. Last night was the first night in almost a week where I didn't wake up every two hours during the night. I actually had a full 8 hrs. complete rest and still I felt beaten all day. I haven't checked the weather report but usually when I feel like this an abrupt weather system is moving in.

I feel that way too sometimes, as a matter of fact I feel that way every Friday evening when it is time to weigh in and be accountable for my weekly choices. I always want to quit, but then I step on the scale and it is either the same or lower so I keep on going.

Today was a beautiful day. I was encouraged when I stepped on the scale this morning and my weight had went back down and then again this afternoon when I stepped on the scale and the reading was only .2 more than this morning. That made me happy, because I try not to over eat all day, it is difficult to get through snack time with out eating what all the children are eating, I had a few slices of apples rather than crackers, carrots and ranch.

I feel great this evening, 84 minutes of working out feels really good tonight. Driving home from work today was eye opening and wonderful. I noticed for the first time how many pink blossoms there are around where I live. I love the color pink and it made me so happy to see pink everywhere. I love Spring!

My excuses not to exercise is my fibromyalgia chronic pain and flare-ups. Last night because of pain level 7 I couldn't get to sleep until after 3 am. then I woke up at 6 am. still level 7 with aching all over so badly that I couldn't find a comfortable position to go back to sleep in. I got myself some breakfast and then began my trigger massage therapy and I followed that up by doing gentle stretches in bed until I felt I was relaxed enough to try going back to sleep again. Husband is away all day so i'm going to try to get my 8 hrs of sleep now and hopefully after a good rest I will feel more like going and trying my treadmill routine around 1 pm. On mornings like this I have to plan a strategy that will still allow me to continue some normal activities that include my exercising so by noon If I still don't feel I will be able to do treadmill program I will put on one of Coach Nichols 10 min programs and do that instead, Some days all I can manage is the massaging and gentle stretching. I've lived with this long enough to know and understand my limitations and so have also learned to only do as much as my body will accept because it if try to push too much I end up becoming more chronic discomfort and can trigger a flare-up, if i judge inaccurately. With good sleep, healthy diet, trigger point massage therapy, and gentle exercises I can control how often or how uncomfortable the discomfort becomes. For right now I am spending on average over half my day just working on doing the things that need to be done for me to have control of my bodies pain levels. I had to stop taking any of the Fr. recommended medicines because I was unable to accurately pinpoint what was triggering a flare-up, and many times the medicines were creating collateral problems that interfered with me reading the nervous systems signals from the start.. Right now all the skin on my body feels as though it has been scrubber hard with steel wool or been immersed in a ice bath, tingly and stinging pin pricking numbness. My ray of sunshine is I know I can get this under control and bring the discomfort down to tolerable levels with a little work today. Hopefully by two pm. today I will feeling close to a normal physical body.

I almost felt like giving up, but then the scale was nice to me so I will stick with it for another week. I am so hungry. I changed my weigh in day to Saturday Morning so I am not going to have my cheat meal until tomorrow and then it will not be much of a cheat meal, because it is so hard to get the weight off once it goes back on. I really want to get that last 30 off.
Good Job to all of you who stick with it when you feel like just giving up and eating that yummy no good meal.

Hello friends....I just spent the whole day shopping. We drove into the city at 11 this morning and we didn't get back home till 4. Then I had to unpack all the things we bough. I lost so much weigh I had to go buy new bra's and pants. LOL that's a good problem to have. My husband just grins at me when I look at clothes because he know's I'm going to need a smaller size again before summer when I lose my last 15 lbs. But I have to wear something now in the meantime so we went to Value Village. Walmart was packed with people which I didn't expect but should have since it's pay day for almost everyone. That's what took the longest because we only do a major shop once a month and with so many others shopping the isles were full of carts to get around. I don't usually go shopping during the busy days so I wasn't fully prepared for the line-ups either. I know my fibro will be in flare-up tonight because my knees are already complaining. At least I'm done with shopping now for another month. Any items I run out of during the month my husband will pick up for me whenever he goes into town which is a couple of times a week.

I am feeling pretty good today. I can't wait until the challenge starts on the 23rd. I want to make sure that I am prepared mentally for the challenge ahead. The next 60 days should be interesting but, I am ready to make great strides toward my weight loss goal.

The cold has knocked me out. Still get in my walks - 25 min, yesterday, but have no strength (desire) to strength train. Maybe it's the humidity? Summer colds--bah, humbug! Reached a goal, and added another. 8-)
