Yesterday was such a busy day for me that I lost my streak in number of steps per day. I had to do the table layout for the Saturday craft fair, and I no sooner had finished that and said goodbye to the lady who helped me with it, when I had to eat lunch and get ready for my afternoon class which was going to be a few different Christmas decorations made from basket material. When that lady left it was dark outside and time to find myself something to eat an collapse for the evening. It was such a nice day yesterday, that I was not happy being inside since the last load of my furnace firewood arrived yesterday morning.

This morning I got going really early and took the table layout in to the University office for their staff to place the tables according to my diagram, and then I got home just as the predicted weather began to move in. Nevertheless, I went outside despite the sleet falling and threw in a bunch of the firewood. After I had done a few things inside I noticed that there was nothing happening outside weather-wise so went out and proceeded to throw in more firewood. Of course, it started snowing after I had been out a few minutes. I did get plenty of exercise done this morning with the wood, and managed to get about half of it in before I gave up entirely. The snow is supposed to change to rain at some point this week so hopefully will wash any accumulating snow off the wood so that I can get the rest in after the craft fair is over on Saturday.

Hope everyone is having a good week.
Eileen

Like you Eileen Monday I will start putting up my decorations also, will take my time as with just getting over this viral infection I am mindful about taking things slow so I recover with no set-backs. I have my Advent Wreath up now which I am enjoying. emoticon On getting all your baskets stained and ready for coming craft fair. Hope it is a successful one and you enjoy! Take care and have an emoticon Week ahead!

Beautiful morning with the Lord, listened to some beautiful Worship on Daystar/Refections and Television Sermons that were meant for me which brought blessings and encouragement, read my Advent Scripture readings and lit my 1st Candle on Advent Wreath, The Candle of Hope!

Today I am so much better, thanking God for His healing touch upon my body, the viral infection that settled in inner ears that brought severe vertigo has resolved, a little dizziness and lightheadiness but am so much better, looking forward to a week of good health and God's strength to carry me through where He takes me. God is Good, All the Time, we serve a Mighty God! God Bless your week team... emoticon emoticon emoticon

Into the final count down for the craft fair next weekend. I have stained all the actual baskets I have made recently, and am now working on Christmas decoration type things. I also need to work on the layout of where everyone will be at this fair. I have someone coming to help me Monday morning, but I also have someone coming a little after noon on Monday to work on some Christmas decoration ideas she wants to do for herself. Of course, the bonus of her coming is that I will get more things made for the fair and not take the rest of Monday off after the layout is finished.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Woke up this morning to about an inch of snow on the ground and there is still some sort of precipitation falling now although it is not accumulating. I am glad that I chose not to go to my daughter's for Thanksgiving as it is over an hour of driving on secondary roads, and I do not like driving in bad conditions. I had fixed my self a mini-Thanksgiving meal yesterday, and accomplished what I needed to on the home front. I decided to weigh myself this morning just to see if I had stayed on track yesterday. I couldn't believe that there was actually a half pound loss. This surely wouldn't have happened if I had joined others for a meal.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Eileen, you have had a very busy day, and heavy work with hauling ash from the furnace, wow 5 gallon pails to carry, I too wish you had help, you did a emoticon However, having said that please be careful and stay safe...Sounds like you have your bedding on your raised gardens all covered and ready for the winter... emoticon

Like you and LIVELYGIRL2 I too have to be careful with my purchases, being on a fixed income you certainly think about all potential purchases you make.

LIVELYGIRL2 - I so understand not being able to afford a new tracker as most of the others available are really pricey. Being on a fixed income as I am, I have to consider every purchase carefully and something are just too expensive. I have plenty for all of my needs, and I thank God for this every day, it is just the extras that can really eat up the available cash too fast.

Hope everyone is having a good day. I finally got the large pails of ashes from the furnace (from last year) hauled out of the bulkhead and spread on my raised beds. I was hoping I would have someone to help me with the 5 gallon pails, but then I started worrying about having snow that would make opening the bulkhead impossible. Good thing I exercise and am strong!

Happy Wednesday everyone.

well, if it shows up I was thinking about enclosing it in a pouch ( clear/ but looks like no luck. They used to have them also at Amazon I think.

Maybe this is why they discontinued them...

I probably won't have money to get a replacement for awhile, with Christmas and moving...

It has turned much colder here. It went from almost 60 degrees on Saturday to low 30's during the day yesterday and today. There is even a slight breeze today which makes it feel even colder. I am thankful that I got my firewood in when I did, although I have ordered another load.

LIVELYGIRL2 - I lost my activity tracker a few years ago, and since that time have always kept it on "a leash" which I ordered from Amazon. If I remember correctly the leash was around $5 and sure worth the price. I have found the tracker dangling a few times, but never actually lost it completely again. Of course, if the clip separated, even the leash probably wouldn't help.

For those celebrating Thanksgiving this week, Have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

A rainy Sunday here. It is also supposed to turn colder with the possibility of snow in the mountains tonight into tomorrow. I do not live that far from the mountains so who knows what we will get. Pixie--my dog--has decided today is a good day to lay low and not asked to go out until she HAS to. She does not like wet weather. It is surprising how long she can hold off from asking to go out on rainy wet days.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

It has been a busy few days for me, and I haven't been here as often as I would have liked. I went to the class luncheon and ended up ordering something that was not whole 30 compliant as it was served in a roll, but after only a couple bites of the roll, I decided that I would just eat the filling out of the roll. It also came with french fries, which might or might not be acceptable, but I left about half of them. All in all not too bad considering the choices I had.

I have spent the last couple of days getting the rest of my firewood in, and as of just a few minutes ago, it is all in under cover. That is until I order another load of furnace wood which I must do soon. There is a possibility of snow later in the week, and I would rather not have too much snow on the wood before it is all in.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Just finished my workout this morning, and now need to get ready to go out of town for a class reunion luncheon. Love to get together with my high school classmates even if it means driving about 25-30 miles (one way) to do it. I am hoping that I can find something on the menu that at will at least be partially Whole 30 compliant. I thinking maybe soup would be the best way to go. I am at a point with Whole 30 where I could have a meal that is non-compliant, but my motto is partially if something is working well, don't change it.

Hope everyone is having a great day. The sun is shining brightly here after a good soaking rain over the last two days.

LIVELYGIRL2--I live in west central Maine, and we have had drought conditions for most of the summer into the fall, so rain is very welcome. I am on town water so I have had no problem but in many rural areas around me people with their own water supply have been without water for some time. The rain we have gotten yesterday and today is needed. My field is flooded in places so I am thinking that enough fell to saturate the ground and hopefully benefit the dry wells around the state.

I did get quite a bit of firewood in, and have promised myself to go down cellar and start piling it. I had wood delivered last Thursday and managed to get about half of it in before the rain started. That which is still outside will have to dry for a few days before I can start getting that in.

Hope everyone is having a great day
Eileen

Regarding tracking steps, I will comment that the SPAT tracker is not posting data to my page, so I am wondering if that was not partial the reason for so few steps. It seemed to be tracking and reporting to the page, but no data shows up--again.

I have just finished putting a second batch of furnace firewood into the cellar. Today is absolutely gorgeous outside. I would love to keep working outside, but I know my back has done as much as it should for one day. I have learned to listen to my body to keep from having too many problems later.

Hope everyone's day is as nice as mine.

Thank you LIVELYGIRL 2 for your comments about the craft fair. I try to sell my baskets for a good price for both myself and my customers. Yes, there is a lot of hand work.

As to less steps being recorded yesterday, I am wondering i the location of my tracker is partially responsible. I had it clipped to the pocket of my slacks, which are definitely very loose through the hips now (hooray). Is it possible that because they are so loose in the are where the tracker is located that don't pick up as much of the body actions? Just something to ponder.

Have a great day everyone.

I hope you did well at the craft fair. Those things are fun.I wonder if you can get the amount of money that is fair for that much work. I mean this skill is harder than many. I know the baskets they make in Ohio are expensive, but fine quality. I think yours would involve more hand labor.

It is hard to get in more walking when it's chilly. It seems if you worked hard today ( and perhaps not as much exercise, but takes energy for sure. )

Back home from the craft fair, and must say I have a better than expected day. Now I really do need to get busy and make more baskets for my next sale. Fortunately I have a couple of weeks to do that. It is still very cold here. I have not gotten as many steps as I would have liked to today since the people doing the craft sale were very helpful and assisted me in loading at the end of the sale. I should do a video to get in more steps, but after getting up this morning about 4:30 AM, I just cannot make myself do that. Tomorrow is another day and I did get a walk in with my dog before dawn this morning.

dear one, you didn't imply any type of negative thoughts or feelings.

Several people have said some unkind things. This is why I said, what I did.

We love this country and need to support leaders and ones in authority with prayer.

In my earlier post it should have read without recrimination rather than with.

It has turned very cold and windy here today. I have just finished washing down my display equipment on my mostly open front porch, and then loading everything in preparation for the craft sale tomorrow. Very cold. It did prompt me to put the storm window in the door though, so that is one more step toward getting read for winter.

Such a wonderful poem to remember all those who have served or are serving to keep us free to worship and speak our mind with recrimination. A heartfelt thank you to all.

A very busy day planned today as I have a craft fair tomorrow. It is just a small one in this town, but I am very hopeful it will be a good one. Have a few new items so hope things will go well.
Have a great day everyone.

The SPAT tracker is finally back on line. As far as I can tell all my data was recorded while it was down, and I have a lot of exercise recorded. Not sure what I was doing to log certain things, but at least I have the data. I am sure of the workout the first thing in the morning because that is when I walk the dog. Otherwise I will just accept what is there, and move on.

Have another mystery. I had quite a few emails in my folder from Spark and other newsletters and they have just completely disappeared or at least I haven't found them yet. I do know how to reach a lot of my teams like this one, so will slowly try to recover what went missing.

The SPAT tracker is still down, and I am trying to keep going without the motivation that being able to see the number of steps I have taken each day, etc I know that eventually they should have the system running again, but I had become so dependent on it. Hope they have it going again soon.

hi groupies. I haven't been at the individual groups as much. I've visited our mom who got put in the hospital, my regular activities, and it looks like we will most likely be moving soon. We are trying to both downsize and pack. Also figure out about others things we have stored.

I haven't forgotten you.

Just got back on track better with exercise. emoticon

Today has dawned bright and sunny, but very frosty. Due to the time change the early morning walk with the dog was done as it was getting light--didn't need the flashlight this morning which is a plus. Have a lot to do today as there is still more wood outside, and the raised beds need attention since I have had a tractor bucket of manure put on each of the back ones. At the very least it needs to be spread out evenly in each of the beds. It looks like very rich compost so should be a great addition. I also should take a bit of it and put on by rhubarb patches.

Never enough time to get everything done.

Am playing catch up again. Had to make a quick trip into a craft fair at the same venue as the one I will be setting up the first Saturday in December. Needed to see what changes I needed to make in the set up due to construction, etc. Needless to say a quick trip turned into seeing a lot of people I knew who wanted to talk and now I am behind. I have someone coming to do a basket a little later and need to get busy.

Hello Everyone--It is a rainy, cool day here in New England. We do need the rain so I will not complain. The wood stove and furnace feel especially good today. For any of you out there who have a SPAT, you probably know by know that something has happened to the system and it has not been syncing properly for a few days. Up until today some of the workouts had been recorded, but today absolutely nothing. I did manually track my walking workout, but as far as steps, etc. I can only hope that eventually it will come back online, and catch up with all my data.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Off to a good start for the month of November. I finally got up my courage a put on a pair of jeans that have been in my closet for over two years. The fit and are actually very comfortable. Guess I have lost that size and now to continue as I have some pants that are even smaller than I want to wear.

Hope everyone is having a good day.
