i am new to the team but november 2012 i started seriously wanting to lose weight i weighed in at 234 and as of today july 6 2013 i weighed 216 so i have made very good progress i think so yay me

Weighed in at 158# on 7/2/13. Down 4# since starting SparkPeople about 3 weeks ago.

Amazing what happens when you track your food everyday & see how you've been eating. Just a change in my portion sizes helped get rid of the weight. emoticon

I weighed 186.6 on Monday and didn't post it. I've been very distracted lately. That is a little over 1 lb down from last week. For this weekend my goal is to maintain or lose. Easier said than done! Have a great fourth everyone!

AVERYSBRO, I hear what you are saying. I am weighing in once a week but it is not a good experience yet for the same reasons...my clothes actually feel better to me and I know I am doing good things.

Weigh-in this week -- no loss, no gain. Holding at 158 which I guess is okay after a 10-day family vacay. I am pleased with that.

i personally dont weigh myself because it discourages me. I go by how clothes feel and what my body feels like to me. Its not really about the weight i know ill never be a sz 7 again but i want to be toned which is harder than losing the lbs itself.

My weigh in was today, I weigh 187, down 5 pounds from last week (I suspect water weight). I still have a distance to goal but sub goal #2 will be next at 180.

emoticon I am up 1 1/2 pounds. I am not happy with me. I succumbed to salt and goodies at grandsons birthday. Salt it the unforgivable since medically I should not have it! I will do better.

Looks like everybody except me lost a pound or two or stayed the same. Hmm. Of the 30 pounds I lost over the last year, 5 of those pounds found me in Florida while I was on vacation. I am back on track, but know it will take me at least two months to lose the 5 pounds I gained in two weeks!
