1. Decluttering my house room by room slowly.
2. Shopping at T.J more
3. Getting back to 5K walking training
4. Eating out less
5.Signing up for a spinning class at the community center.
6. Take a camera with me on my walks and hikes.
7. Take water with me.

My new things goals for next week include such things as:

1) 15 minutes (minimum) of declutter for a seven-day streak (one room)
2) Try a new recipe (likely a lentil/dal recipe and photo op)
3) Try a new workout DVD
4) Take down the Christmas Tree within 24 hours of the 12th Day of Christmas (can't say I've ever done this before!)
5) Begin a plan to read through the Bible in 2013
6) Spend one week itemizing every dollar spent in one week

I hope I can remain open and flexible should other new things come up.

I'll keep this goal in mind as I celebrate the last day of Christmas on Saturday.

Beginning this team likely qualifies as a new start for Week One: 1) Join a new Spark Team: "New Year, New Things 52 in 2013;" 2) Begin a weekly diary/report of all my "new" activities. I pray that I far exceed the number of 52 new experiences. 3) Capture one something new in a digital photograph.

If I were to go back one week, my something new would have been: Bulk cook with a friend to make a record number of curries (8 in all -- many quadrupled for freezing). Yes, this could be quite exciting as changing things up is key to healthy living.

For the most part, my firsts will likely trying a new and healthy recipe, as I enjoy food a little more than I should. Should I ever come up blank, I'll try adding a new spice to my hot-air popped popcorn snack. By the grace of God, I'd like to see if I can capture some of these through the lens of my camera -- I'm a very visual person, but only blog every month (+/-).

I also enjoy small teams and look forward to trying 52 new things in 2013! Merry Eleventh Day of Christmas!
