I have an open browser tab at the office with a check in started. Got super busy and never finished.

I'm getting so frustrated with the lawyer on the other side of the custody dispute I'm currently working on. She was a prosecutor for 30 year and is now practicing family law. She keeps doing all of these things that are just wrong. And I'm having to spend tons of time looking up obscure rules and cases to show that she's wrong. All of my other cases are getting pushed to the side.

I've been doing really good with exercise and nutrition this week. Excited/Nervous about my 5k this Saturday. I really want to finish in under 30:00. I've really been working hard, so hopefully I will make it. After the race, I'll be working serving green chili cheeseburgers at a Rotary Club fundraiser. I'm new to Rotary so I'm nervous/excited about that too :)

Bobbi - Glad to hear that you are feeling better about the bar. I know it must be hard.
No eating plan can be perfect. Just remember - If you dropped your phone, you wouldn't start stomping on it! So if you eat something not on your plan, that doesn't mean you should eat whatever you want after that!

Wow. Way to go, girl! You're right about going with your gut.

Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for all of the support this week. As I told you, Lisa, I think I am finally on the mend. I am feeling more and more positive every day, and am looking forward to starting to study again (Lisa, don't kill me for saying that)!

Eating is not going well. Let's face it, it's been a rough couple of months. I need to change that but basically am putting it on the back burner. I will do my best to eat healthy and low carb but am not going to freak out over the small things when either I don't have time to eat low carb or can't for whatever reason.

I'm staying positive and moving forward with everything. Thanks to you both for everything!

Hi team:

Ok, you guys will get a kick out of this.

My company leases a space. The owner died. The lease was assigned via a Trust. The lawyer who represented the assignee called me. I immediately looked over our lease and called the phone numbers listed to see what the deal was. The lease is old. All of the numbers are out of service.

So this lawyer wants us to cut him a check that day. I get a bad feeling about him. I told someone in accounting I just didn't trust this guy.

I look him up- he's a sole practitioner with a running website. Fine. I ask for a copy of the death certificate, a copy of the Trust, and an affidavit that everything he's presented to me is complete, true, and correct. We cut him a check for his client.

Turns out- this guys forged the check and cashed it himself. Yesterday, I look him up on the ARDC website. He's had PR complaints and had to appear before the review board.

Lesson learned: Go with your gut.
