Hi ladies!

I like this daily check-in. This morning I woke up early enough to squeeze in 10 minutes of TapOut XT (I've been doing small increments of working out throughout the day so I don't use time as an excuse not to exercise). Cleared a couple of items off my to-do-list at work, walked on a treadmill in the gym for 15 minutes, and now I'm about to heat up a can of soup.

I think I'm going to start a couch to 5k program tonight. My friend has been bugging me to do a "dirty girl" mud run with her this summer, and I have a lot of work to do to prepare for it. Have either of you tried a couch to 5k before?

Let us know more about this Bobbi method! Good luck on the shrimp and kale tonight.

Amanda, have a great lunch. Try not to be tempted by that gargantuan rice krispie treat!

Good morning!

I had a good day yesterday for exercise and nutrition. Cleared one nagging assignment off my desk and another almost completed.

Got up early this morning and did two of the workouts of the coach nicole dvd. Great leg workout! Having lunch with a friend. The place where we are going sells rice krispie treats the size of your head! I got one last time I went. Will pass this time.

I've been craving something sweet in the afternoon. Think I will stop by the grocery store on my way back from lunch and get some fruit to keep at the office.

Will get some more work cleared off of my desk today. YAY! Sounds like you are really focused and organized, Bobbi. I need a method. Well a different method besides the "pile and procrastinate" method I have now! :D

I caved yesterday and had about a quart of one jar of peanut butter and some milk (I'm not supposed to have dairy or peanut butter right now). Boy am I feeling the effects of that this morning. I also realized that more than likely my cravings are so bad after my weekend of cheats. Even though I made good decisions for the most part, I should have been stronger and just stuck to low carb.

Today is my day to study Torts! Don't you like the daily update on my studies? Haha. This is an area I struggle with (especially products liability), so I will be working on that extensively today.

I've been given a project at work, and as the attorney told everyone else, "we will be using the Bobbi method." Haha. I just wish the files that I need would come in so I can get started on coming up with a system for everyone to follow!

Tonight we're doing shrimp scampi (low carb) and kale. If anyone likes kale, let me know, I have a fabulous recipe that I'd be glad to share!

It's a beautiful day and a great day to be alive (my swim coach would say this to us at 5am practices in high school - have always loved this quote)!
