I put cheese in my salad, like small cubes of cheddar cheese, to up my fat content (plus it tastes great).

If you eat 100 grams of avocado, here is what you get:
Carbs (9 grams)
Fat (15 grams)

If you eat 100 grams of cheddar cheese:
Carbs (1.3 grams)
Fat (33 grams)

So not only does cheese have more fat for the same "quantity", it has way less carbs. So... at Christmas parties go for the cheese plates, just don't eat the crackers.

Okay, I need to watch the nuts and avocados. I put an entire avocado in my salad because I was trying to increase my fat intake!

The Rocket Fuel Latte recipe I have contains 1 gram of carbs. At least that's what the recipe book says. It's actually pretty good if you've never had one.

1 3/4 c coffee
1T MCT oil
1T cacao butter
1T hulled hemp seeds
2-4 drops liquid stevia
1/4t vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt
1T collagen peptides or protein powder, or 1 1/2 t unflavored gelatin
Ground Cinnamon for garnish

This is a good topic. So many parties coming up. I am already prepping for an early Christmas party this Saturday.

I will be making Olive Tapenade. There will be crusty bread for others but I will also have slices of zucchini, cucumbers and my favorite "vehicle" Endive leaves.

The Tapanade I am making is a 2 Tablespoon serving = Cal 25, Carbs 2, Fat 3, Pro 0, Fiber 0
I will post the recipe on the recipe thread.

I had to look up a "Rocket fuel latte". So this is supposed to be some sort of Keto coffee with "rocket fuel" being the MCT oils and things. The nutrition information I found on the internet:

says 27 grams of carbs in a 16 once cup, that is really 2 regular cups.

But something like this doesn't fit in a Keto day at all, not even half of that at 14 grams.

Chardonay has a little under one gram of carbs per ounce. Lets say a glass has 6 ounces of wine, so about 5 grams of carbs.
Three glasses of chardonnay, about 15 grams of carbs.

Avocado has about 8% of its weight as carbs, if you ate 1/3 of an avocado in a salad that would be about 10 grams of carbs.

Tomatoes have about 4% of their weight as carbs, if you ate 6 cherry tomatoes that would be about 4 grams of carbs.

Mozarrella cheese is pretty low carb, about 2% of its weight is carbs.

A glass of unsweetened almond milk only has about a gram of carbs.

Nuts, hard to say it depends on the nuts. Lets take a mixture:
Almonds (21.7%)
Cashews (32.7%)
Peanuts (21.5%)

Average something like 25%, and lets say you ate a cup full of various nuts, about 150 grams of nuts, and about 40 grams of carbs.

Almond butter is about 21% carbs by weight. Two tablespoons of almond butter are about 7 grams of carbs.

Just as a guess adding things up about 100 grams of carbs, with a water weight gain of about 1 pound (400 grams).
