made me thing of my friend Arnold, when he was 95 and still in good health someone asked him his secret to such a long and healthy life. He said "its simple, just wake up every morning and have breakfast".

I've had an irregular sleep pattern for many years now. When I started keto, I noticed while it still might be irregular - I felt I was getting a better quality of sleep.

i have always slept light. still do. never dream. i'm usually so tired i just..go to bed and wake up in the morning.lol

I noticed the exact opposite when I switch to Keto. For years I have had difficulties in falling asleep and going back to sleep once I woke up. I was also a light sleeper and woke up several times throughout the night.

After the first few days I started to sleep better and deeper. When I did wake up at night I was able to fall back asleep in less time that I have in years.

Focusing on progress, not perfection.

5% Goal of 12 pound loss - Achieved Sept 19, 2018

I didn't notice sleeping lighter on Keto until I added IF and occasional extended fasting (24-72Hr).
I dream more and seem to have a lot more mental clarity too.

I still sleep lighter - but have so much more energy during the day it's a trade off I'm happy to make.

And I dream more too.

I've always had problems sleeping, I drink so much water it's daily trips to the loo! I can get back to sleep sometimes, but then there are those times, I'm awake, no matter what.

Getting and staying healthy is not an option, it's a lifestyle.

I found I was sleeping lighter when starting Keto. Just for the first 3 weeks roughly, and then my sleep patterns returned to normal.

I woke up early, I dreamed a lot more. I wondered if it was forever, then I returned to my old sleep patterns a few weeks later.
