James posted a list of foods that are keto compliant.

heres an easy way to figure.

Under 20 total grams of carbs. (google "carbs in ______" for the amounts. Even though your packages may say 0 carbs, EVERYTHING has carbs. for instance. i buy heavy cream, it says 0 carbs. ALL heavy cream has .5 carbs in a tablespoon. so a quarter cup has 2 carbs. so easy to go over your limits if you follow the packages. they can say zero carbs if its under 1 carb for a serving. cheese, too...has half a carb in most for an ounce. so be aware.

under 60 gm protein a day. again..check online for how much protein in ....

at least twice your protein in fat..so thats a minimum of 120 grams of fat a day. more is fine.
keep your cals around 1800-2000. eating less will slow your metabolism, and give you problems with hair loss and brittle nails. this is proven...keto should NOT be cal restricted. That said..dont go nuts. if you eat 3000 cals a day you arent going to lose...

many of the calculators out there are outdated, put up before the studies started, and never changed. the above is the generally accepted guide for most experts.

Go here and it will help you get more specific about how much of each category you should be having based on your size and goals: https://www.ruled.me/keto-calc

Pinterest has loads of keto recipes. I just made some stuffed mushrooms a couple of days ago for mid day snacks. It's one of my favorite Go To things that makes me feel like I'm cheating, but I'm not!

Hi. I am new to this & was wondering where I could go to determine what foods to eat or a menu. I know what kinds of foods to eat/not eat,I just don't know how much or how to figure it. thanks for any info.
