I first heard of the sole on radiantliving blog - the blogger is a nurse I believe (she also has articles on the use of magnesium and quite a bit of interesting health practices.)

Then when I was on Virta Health (a pro-keto support for diabetes done by telemedicine and app), drinking salt with the water is their standard recommendation for dehydration and headache issues.

Himalayan pink supposedly has some 80+ different mineral salts, the Celtic Sea Salt (which I predominantly use), is around 60-70 different mineral salts. Either one (or both) should address whatever electrolyte unbalance you have.

There is also a Redmond Salt, out of Utah, supposedly has a lot of minerals and it has a predominantly white/ivory appearance streaked with red. The red parts NEVER burn in or dissolve into the water, and always remain at bottom of glass like sludge. Iím sure the company has their ďspinĒ on how it is healthy - but Iím an Okie and quite familiar with Red Clay... so I calls it as I see it, and IMHO, Redmondís red clay is yuckky. It doesnít even remind me of Bentonite clay (which reminds me, I need to get some more.).

I'm definitely going to try it because I really need more salt in my diet. I just don't believe a lot of the claims that they are making. It's almost like if I drink it, I'm going to hit the mega millions and find a new man and look like Beyonce. . .HAHAHAHAHA

Whichever you prefer. I use Himalayan pink salt, but want to get some Celtic salt and use a combination of the two as it seems that they each have different properties. Yes, as simple as it seems, this salt really can make a difference. The first time I tried it, I was doing a fat fast and losing a lot of water weight. I began to feel like I was going to pass out, got cold and sweaty and was ready to stop my fat fast. But, I drank some of this and gave it about 30 minutes and things began to stabilize and I felt so much better. It did so much more than I anticipated. I thought it was my blood sugar, but it was dehydration. Ever since that day, Iíve been sold!

I agree, Holly, I use it for the electrolytes too! I donít know about anything miraculous it has done other than keep my system regulated.

Truth is i had to look it up. this is what i found:
www.quickanddirtytips.com/health-fitness/t

rends-fads/what-is-sole-water

among a whole lot of other things.
i've been telling you guys every coach i had told me to mix half a teaspoon to a teaspoon of pink salt in a glass of water and drink it down 1-2 times a day.
no i dont used purified water. i use my own pure, sweet well water. it has to get tested quarterly as the bakery is on the same well as the house, so i know its fine.
i've never seen all the claims for what it does, and i've been doing it a year now without those magical things happening to me...but i want the electrolytes so i do it.

I'm glad someone in this group confirmed it. It lists a LOT of health benefits on the sites I read up on it about and I was like reaaaaaalllly????? LOL I'm going to try it. What type of salt is best? I've seen recipes with himalayan pink salt, celtic salt, or sea salt.

It is wonderful! I use it daily. It really helps with dizziness, fatigue and dehydration...especially when first beginning Keto. Itís super easy to make. Then, just use 1 tsp diluted in 8 oz regular water. I keep a glass by the frig and just take a swig whenever I refill my water glass.

I see in some keto groups on facebook that people get their sodium by drinking/taking sole? Has anyone here tried it? If so what is your experience with it? This is a new one for me and I'm VERY not knowledgeable about it. I read a few articles after a google search . . .and call me a cynic but some of the claims seem super sketchy to me.
