Hello HOFFARD I have been on KETO for a few months and it works well if you follow the keto way of eating. In my opinion, It is not the kind of eating where you can do it for a few days and then eat off plan. It does not work like that. Consistency it the key factor for KETO. If you stay on it it becomes quite easy.

Get on it and stay on it and you will have success. I enjoy the Keto daily chat. Lots of friends there. I have lost 10 pounds since joining this group. I lose slowly regardless of my eating plan. But it is coming off. Best of Luck to you.

Hello again!

I've been on/off keto several different times. I KNOW it works when I work the program diligently and not get lazy with tracking or measuring or by not allowing other people to get me off track.

The reason I know it works is because every time I've been faithful to work the program, I *have* lost significant amounts of weight ... and even kept it off for over a year ... until I got sick and tired of a friend pushing at me that fruit couldn't possibly be bad. Don't EVER let anyone do that to you.

Once you get past the first week or two, you should start having a bit easier time. I strongly encourage you to keep at it - it most definitely is well worth it.

Hi Hoffard - I'm 4 months into keto - down 22 pounds and loving it. Also, 59 - I turn 60 in November so I'm trying hard to get to my ideal size by then.

I only do keto - but also do some fasting from time to time if you are interested in that.

Hi NightStar, Hi AgedLace. I'm Joanne - Thanks for responding. Have you been at this awhile (spark people, keto) and how are you doing? I went to a potluck tonight and it was really hard! But I did it. I ate too much protein but managed to skip all of the deserts - only ate roasted chicken. I also went on an hour long leisurely bike ride. First time in ages.

Have you lost a lot of weight?

I just like having someone to talk to. Can I message you directly?

Having someone to touch basis with every day or two really helps me. Is anyone interested in having a one-on-one friend. I'm week two with Keto. Doing well. I've lost 9 lbs. I'm a 59 year old woman if that helps. I prefer someone who is only Keto.
