If you go on Pinterest you will find an abundance of snacks that you can make while on Keto's. They also have a lot of recipes that I find very helpful.

I used to snack when I was doing a "balanced" diet. Fruit or nuts. But I wasn't losing weight. I cut out all sugar in the 21 day challenge. Then I fasted for 3 days, which just ended yesterday. Now, I can feel my body responding and feel the keto diet will keep that in play. But no snacking.

I don't snack too much. If I do it will be a few dill pickles around 3:00pm. And I always have one hot cup of chicken bouillon after dinner every evening. I find these two food items very satisfying.
I think veggies are to high in calorie to snack on.

I never snack when I am not at home. So I don't need to worry about carrying anything. I do carry a large insulated beverage tumbler filled with ice and seltzer.

Snacking is not really about hunger. Snacking is emotional. Just my opinion.

Is two squares of dark chocolate (85% cocoa) with a dab of peanut butter on each a snack?

I sometimes eat a little cheese in the evening, Like some cheddar or brie, or both.

Its all pretty small volume stuff.

I rarely snack, if I do, I eat cheese crisps, veggies if I do not have any for meals, cheese, pork rinds, nuts, and broth. I have a fat bomb once in awhile.

I rarely snack. I eat 2-3 distinct meals a day and that’s it. The only time I snack is if I’m at a gathering, and I try to always have a small pack of a quarter cup of pecans or walnuts or a mix of the 2 and eat them really slowly.

Olives have become my new favorite snack food! Sometimes I will grab a cheese stick or some macadamia nuts I can't get to the olives.

Celery and cucumbers are low carb enoug for me to snack on. It's what is recommended on the keto program I am on - low carb non-starchy veggies. Also green bell peppers etc.

I try to keep snacking to a minimum. Most often I find that I am not actually hungry, just wanting to snack. So I try a piece of gum. Its rare for veggies to make my snack list. I usually have greens for lunch and another low carb veg for dinner, so thats about my limit for veggies for the day. Olives, cheese, lunch meat, pork rinds, added fat to all of these (mayo/dip, etc) cheese crisps, fat bomb, etc are my go tos. If I really want sweet, which is usually only hormone cycle related at this point I have a 90 or 95% chocolate square and sometimes put a small smear of peanut butter on it. Often I will even mix the small amount of peanut butter with butter or coconut oil for added fat. That will almost always do it for me.

For salty snacks: I snack on green olives, sometimes cheddar or parmesan crisps (they make me feel like I'm eating chips), I also snack on cheese - I love cheese. I have string cheese, babybels, and .75 oz packs of colby jack in my fridge right now. I also like macadamia nuts for a fat boost.

For sweet snacks: I snack on strawberries, raspberries, or sometimes sugar free jello. I have found a 70% dark chocolate that I like and I will usually have one square (1/3 of a serving) every few days.

I just make it fit into my day for macros.

I don't really snack either but let's face it...some days it just has to happen. I do pickles, olives, pork rinds or if I have a sweet craving I grab a fat bomb type thing. Usually if I want a sweet option I will have a fat bomb with my meal and then I have no craving later for it.
I def try not to eat anything after 7pm so most of my snacking is usually between lunch and dinner.

I'm curious about what and when our members snack on.

Do you snack? Mid afternoon, evening ...?

What do you eat? Is it easy to take with you on the road?

Do you snack on cheese? Maybe veggies and dip? Do you think veggies are too high in carbs to be a snack?
