i have to add..one of my good friends that i got started on keto started on Christmas day. i thought she was nuts. she said..if i start on the worst eating day of my year, and succeed, i can succeed anytime.
she is succeeding....i am so proud of her. so really, start whenever is good for YOU!

I purposely started on a Friday because I was most concerned with having tummy issues from the change in diet. I figured I would be near my own bathroom through the weekend :)

When I started Keto on Dec 3/17, (coincidentally, a Saturday) it was after a week long debate of either starting right away while I was all fired up about keto OR waiting until the holidays were over (and possibly losing my initiative to start at all). So I started and lost weight over the holidays. Which is my personal Christmas miracle!

Yes, the brain fog for me was at it's worst by day 2, but by day 3 the corner was turned. Broth and rest got me through.

What is the best day to start eating Keto?

If you don't work on Saturday or Sunday, then Friday, or maybe late Thursday is a great time. Besides what is in the middle of digestion, the body stores extra carbs in glycogen. This is carbs packaged in water, stored in liver and in muscles. When marathon runners, typically fuelled by carbs run out of stored carbs, they can "hit the wall" before the race is over. A sudden loss in fuel.

So if you start on Friday, you "hit the wall" typically late Saturday, or on Sunday, though not as hard as a marathon runner. But better on a day when you are not working than on one where you must work, and you are "fading".

By Monday things tend to be on a more even energy. So in my opinion, start on a Friday.

What is the experience of other folks?
