Alana,
three months, and 30 pounds, that is a little over two pounds a week. Its possible.

You've lost 16 pounds in 8 weeks (now I know about 5 of those are water, but it is still great). So if you stay on track you will be very close.

"Cheatogenic" diet .... love it!

James

I've just started participating in challenges on here too. It's great motivation and really neat to share ideas and progress.

I do resolutions whenever it suits me not on a special day like New Years.

I was going to wait until after the Christmas season before starting my keto diet, but because I was all fired up and excited about it, I started Dec 3/17. Two months in and I have lost 16 pounds (depending on the day). This past week I haven't been following it well, so I'd say I'm a cheatogenic dieter. I start out strong in the morning but by evening, well, I've run out of willpower before I run out of day.
Silly things are derailing me and I'm just using it as an excuse.
When I was thinner, my treats were taking a bubble bath or getting a massage and I am working on putting those back in my life.
My motivation for losing weight is that we're getting married in June/18 and I'm putting an effort into looking my best on our big day - like every bride!
I have three months and 30-ish pounds to go - my goal is to look good and feel good and not have to shop for a wedding dress in the plus sizes section.

I don't make resolutions but I am committed to eating healthy and losing weight this year. I am still on track with my keto diet. Steps I have taken include my Sparks teams and challenges as well as exercising with friends.
What steps are you taking?

how to make good new years' resolutions. Interestingly, it reinforces how SMART resolutions are made (another sparkpeople article)!!

ARE YOU STILL IN? What steps are you doing to make it happen?
