I was target about 40 to 50g carbs per day. Right now I am under 100g.

I am currently going to the Lindora clinics and the amount of food is more than I am used to but it is working.

Now to find more lower carb foods to plant in my garden that I will like.

Linda,

I eat some dark chocolate. The 80% cocoIa stuff is not quite dark enough for me, in the sense that it has a few more carbs. But 85% is pretty good. Each square in one of those 100 gram bars has 2 grams of net carbs.

So I can tolerate a square or two of those at a time.

If you are puzzled about what to eat, have a look at this post of mine with carb percentages (by weight) of various things. It has an OK to eat list, an in comparison a not OK list.

I assume the "one time a day" means 'all day long'...so I have checked it as met if under 50 for the day. It is hard to write the goals to meat their criteria - I lead a team for a while and tried to change some wordings and just made it worse.

James, I think they are talking about the goals at the bottom of the page for Team Keto. There is a goal that says:

Eat 50 or fewer Net Carbs 1 time per day

One can look through the internet for various carb targets.

When eating Keto one really has to be in the range of 0 to about 30 grams a day. Low carb is about 40 to 80 grams a day.

North American adult average is 330 a day, so cutting to 100 might seem low, but 100 is very easy, cut sugar and some excessive things like bread or cereal. But 100 is just plain clean eating.

So 50 per meal, is actually high, that would be about 150 a day.

I personally aim for 20, but usually hit 30. I'm a little unhappy with 40 a day, but not excessively so.

I think it just the way SP words their goal setting bit. It needs a time criteria and that's the one that best fits it. So what are you doing for your grams of carb?

Thank you Cynthia.
The 1 time per day is what threw me off. Why not just say per day.

I read it as 50g a day... not per meal. I actually stay below 30. I've never added any goals from here. I do have the goal as part of my challenge for another group.

This goal is throwing me off because of the 1 time per day.

This would seem like the goal then is for to have a meal under 50 carbs. Is this how other read this goal?

Has anyone else added this to their goals?
