thank you Stacy I am trying to think good thoughts like the reason I seem fatter is that my body is changing for the good however it is really hard to shove the bad away it really likes to linger way past its time to make sure they are not welcome before they leave so you have both body types in one it sounds funny but I figured that makes a good picture for how I feel in the transition to the new look

hello everybody just sitting hear catching up watching the squirrels play in the front yard they are being funny today the dogs are not interested but the cat is but the humor is I watch them every morning playing I. Well on with the story I am dreading weigh in time I do feel I have been cheating alittle too much but I am trying to pick up and do some exercise and be more active in general but we all must take one step at a time

Skeetor I know you are knee deep packing for the move than ... the unpacking begins I think in ach of the times I did move I must say I think I can say I was bad at it each time but the unpart took forever but I wish well on both ends of that one

Hey buddies...just a quick note before I have to get ready for work..first week back on track I successfully tracked everyday (amazing for me), finally got in a workout yesterday morning and seen my weight drop like 2.5 pounds today! Oh happy day! It would be cool to see the downward spiral again!! Weight wise anyway (should clarify that after the last six months!!)

It's my last day of vacation... My work week starts tomorrow!

In 2 weeks I will go down to 3 days of work, Thursday - Friday - & Saturday. I'm dropping Sunday shift.

I need 4 days in a row off for packing and possible Back 'n Forth Trips to TX trying to find a new house. We are really hoping to move by the "middle" of July!

Today is Back on Track Day!

Body Media is on and I will work out! The next few days I will keep my cals at the lower end of my range!

We went out to eat so many times while my family were here and then I cooked home-style meals they requested. emoticon

Time to sink back in my routine!

Hey all...I think I am almost at 100%...just a little lingering effects. Actually tracked my food and stayed within my limits. Toured a gym I am thinking about joining...19 a month with no contract. Thought it could help me a couple of days a week so I don't fall into tasks at home. Just a thougt and it is less than 5 minutes from work so it would be easy on my way home. We will see....

My family left yesterday around 10:30AM .. We enjoyed them SO MUCH!!

Today is my 40th Birthday and my hubby and son are taking me out. emoticon

Tomorrow starts "Back on Track" for me since my vacation/family knocked me off again..LOL

Didn't have time for work outs when 6 people are trying to get up every AM and use 1 bathroom to get ready for the day! HAHAHAHAHA!

Plus, there were so many "out-to-eat" nights and "home style-cookin'" nights!

We had a GREAT visit though! Miss them already!

Next week starts the PACKING!

Hey all...the best laid plans..blah, blah, blah...hopefully to start after the weekend. Had a medical procedure yesterday. Dr. did not want me on the pill much longer due to turning 40 this year. The procedure was placing these things in my tubes to block them (kinda like having your tubes tied without surgery). Mind you, because of my past, my annual exam is stressful. Well, they gave me several meds that were supposed to make me loopy and sleepy...well, they didn't and I felt a lot! The absolute longest 10 minutes ever. Did not feel well afterwards at all. My hubby took care of me though. So I am supposed to take it easy for a couple of days. So next week I will start small.

Sorry if I wrote too much..did not have much to report. This weight has to go though..miserable...

Today is Scrub Cleaning/Laundry Day!

My family may have to wait until Wed. Morning to leave TX and head this way...
Tuesday, they would be in the main T-Storm System leaving OK tracking through AR all the way to Jonesboro! Too Risky!!! Lots of damaging hail and possible tornadoes are expected in that system and they do not need to be trapped on the highway in a car!!!

I better get busy as their is a lot to do preparing for their visit!

Hi, All!

Sorry I haven't been on in a loooong while. I am just having to put packing at the top of my list now that the move is less then three weeks away. We spent all weekend going through stuff in the attic, packing and placing the boxes in the garage, ready for load up.

I am still trying to eat well but don't see any more weight coming off. I've packed up a whole lot of my kitchen stuff and am down to the bare necessities. And I am trying to use up the food I have on hand in the freezer, fridge and "pantry"(actually my hall linen closet).

So, I won't be on here much for a while until the dust settles in New Orleans!

So exhausted!! Level 4 of the Firm is Hard and then add work to that and I'm just wore out!

Lovin' my Body Media! It is pushing me and a fantastic tool to have!

It is helping me so much "know for sure my cals in and cals out" so no more guess work since I can see what the calorie burn is for work outs, work, at home activities and so on.

I went to the store after work last night which put me home so late! (1AM) At least we are stocked up for us and my family arriving on Tuesday! emoticon

Tomorrow starts my 10-Day-Vacation! I will be cleaning all day and doing laundry! LOL

emoticon Stacy, BodyMedia sounds awesome. Plus the family coming to visit, i'm so happy for you!

On my end, I'm still very tired and think it might have to do with having lost weight and my thyroid med doses not being optimal anymore. Been getting little sleep, too, and not because my schedule demands it. Will have testing next week anyway, so I'm hoping it's "just" that and not a slump/burnout. Haven't made it to partner yet, have to keep going just a little more.

M is coming over tonight and has promised me we're going to make up for my missed sessions last week. Uh-oh. We're going for my C25k training run (I'm still repeating the 5 minute running/2.5 minute recovery week because knee isn't willing), then there shall be HIIT. I'm SO going to be dead. Happy, but dead. Yay.

I've put in my application for two weeks' vacation at the end of August today. Need to get back home and enjoy the last vestiges of a Florida summer or I won't have enough warmth and sun stored up to get through yet another German winter.

Best news I got today: Brother #1 got his research grant today. You rock, bro!

My days off have been so super busy.. tons and tons of laundry (bedding for 3 people; my family coming to stay) plus our bedding and regular laundry. Busy w/lots of extra chores (spring cleaning type stuff), ZuZu was at groomer's yesterday and now I go to get my haircut at 3 today.. I also have to fit in the grocery visit tonight! emoticon

Tomorrow starts my work week.. emoticon

No rest or relaxation this time off.. LOL .. Too much going on.

sorry but I am back computer had a issue for the last couple of days but I am back to chat again with each of you
I have been talking with some of the ladies at the fire department in hopes to finding someone to do some exercising with I was to meet them yesterday however my day was not long enough before it was into the evening so I just let it ride for another night. Maybe I will be able to find them today however tonight I am to go to work so I also want to take it easy for it will be a long night if I do not.
For a snack I did pick up some special k cereal I am going to try to eat that if I want something during the night when I am off work and can not sleep and the good thing no cook involved at all will not wake up anyone and that is a bonus not to wake up my big dogs they will come running from everywhere to get a bite of what ever I must be either getting better at that or I eat boring food or for the last thought they would rather have their beauty sleep. I have not figured that out since most days I am within a feet of one of them.

Yikes, I go on one little business trip and suddenly everybody is ON FIRE! Congratulations! Welcome to all of our new members, glad to have you here!

I'm so tired today I don't know how I'm going to get through volleyball training. Looking forward to seeing everyone there again, but it's been a hell of a week (and no weekend).

The clients were very stubborn and I had to spend practically the entire week in company 24/7, no downtime. I wanted to go running by myself, but my colleague practically forced himself on me, then nagged at me when I couldn't keep up a 7min/mile pace through my C25k intervals. Sorry, there are frickin' hills in Switzerland, and even my running up and down stairs at home doesn't prep for them. Plus, didn't you see my knee brace? He was a complete and utter jerk- and came along again the next day. I was so ready to scream... and promptly decided to let the third day of training I had planned slide. Running is my "me time", and someone intruding really takes the joy out of it for me. Couldn't do it anyway in the end because in my infinite wisdom I decided on walking back to the hotel instead of going clubbing with the team, then realized I wasn't exactly wearing the most appropriate pair of shoes, then walked anyway because I can't understand Swiss German so no way of getting a cab, and now my heels are still covered by those foamy blister-healing band-aids. My phone is a great GPS though, I didn't get lost once.

Adding insult to injury, I was the last one home to the hotel, because everybody decided on drinks at the hotel bar rather than clubbing after all, and of course they went by cab. Well, I got a nice two-mile+ walk out of it.

In other news, I'm going to make some orange-and-chocolate mint tea tonight. My herbs grew so much so fast, I'll have to freeze some as there's no way of using them all up before they bloom. My mints are especially prolific, so I'll make tea, sweeten it with home-grown Aztec stevia, and have calorie-free ice tea to take with me to the office tomorrow.

My bonsai lilac tree is going to be in full bloom any day now, too. I love it when everything's green and growing!

Good morning team

I started posting yesterday morning but never made it to actual posting!! To much to do at work.

I had a very nice weekend. Went to dance fit class on Saturday and then drove my parents to the airport for there vacation trip to Spain (with stop in UK to visit my brother). In the evening I met with girlfriends for red wine and talking. Very nice evening.

Sunday I went to dd11 team gymnastic competition. I always enjoy watching but her team has had a better day and they ended in 3rd place (bronch). It was the jumping (trampoline) that cost them the silver!

Yesterday was a rest day so no gym time for me. Baked bread and cooked soup instead and read a book.

It is end of workday two after starting this post so I am just going to push the post message and give up on trying to add reply to everyting !!

SKEETOR - I hope the GymBoss works well for you. Good for you keeping up with the Skinny mom thing.

Stacy - What is the body media fit? Will you get to use it before you birthday ore do you need two wait the 2 weeks? The food where you work must be really good for people to wait two hours for on mothers day.

Mary - Sweets and munchies in the staff room is so hard to resist. I try to be very proud of my self every time I make it away from them with out eating it ! Clean house and burning some calories are both very good :-)

Matt - For me eating out and finding a healthy choose is so difficult so I understand the trouble of being on the road and eating. We have a work cafeteria where you can have lunch that is fairly healthy ( I work at a hospital) but it is just not very good food and they have the same dish again and again!!! I work downtown so not far to go to get much better food but with much more calories and more expensive too.

JATHUENER - I am so glad I donīt have vending machine close to me at work not sure I could resist it!! I thing posting on this chat helps me a lot. I have not been as active on other threads as posting on here seam to take up most of my computer time !

RENEETEXAN - Congratulation with your job as PCT. And big congratulation with beeing in your maintaining weight.

Good Evening to all,

A busy Monday for me. Spent the afternoon running around town getting supplies for younger son's science project. He has to put an egg in a shoe box and wrap it so that it doesn't break when dropped from the school roof. Also must have a 1 kilogram weight in the box.

Stayed within my calorie range despite the day.

Please keep good thoughts for my hubby. He is having hand surgery tomorrow on his right hand. Took the day off from school to be with him and drive him home afterwards. (It's out patient surgery.

I'm disappointed at this time bc of my weigh in yesterday.. emoticon

I just don't get it? I did all my work outs and stayed in calorie range?
Guess I need to check measurements and see if I lost inches?

I'm also going to review my food charts and recheck my sodium intake.. Maybe just maybe I'm holding on to water right this minute?

I'm really puzzled about this! I was at least hoping for a .5 (1/2 lb) loss!!

Well, it's my first day off and there is PLENTY to do!

My chore list and to-do list is huge since my family arrives next week for their visit!

Hey all!!! emoticon Well, I did my grocery shopping today and ended up helpng my hubby in the yard - hello that is some exercise!!! Had to dethatch some of the yard and remove the dead stuff...loaded up 3 big bags and carried them...whew! That was my workout of the day. Hoping to get back into my usual stuff tomorrow, maybe some zumba!! emoticon

Did my sparkcoach tonight and the challenge was to share my goals. Who better than to share them with but with people have goals themselves!!!?? My main goal overall is to lose 40-50 pounds total. My first goal of this week is to track my food at least 4 days this week, exercise 20-30 minutes at least 3 days this week. Gotta ease my way back in as it has been about six months for me.....

So there you go - my goals for this week and my overall goal (hope to reach it by this time next year - if sooner - all the better!!! If I lose 1 pound a week from now until then, I can do it!! Be nice if I can make a big dent into it before my 40th birthday in December!!!

How are y'all liking Hooks? We always wanted to stop at that HUGE Texan BBQ place with the farmer's market and Texan souvenir shop! We never did and then one trip home we decided we were gonna stop to only discover that it burned down! emoticon The landmark silo is untouched and still there. I hope they rebuild! I check on-line all the time to see if the owner has decided to rebuild. Keep me posted on that now that you are in Hooks!

Doing a lot better today staying on track. Did some heavy house cleaning so hoping I burned some calories from it. Weather here is hot - high of 94 today.

glad to be back at the kitchen table here for some more chatting before I head back to work and midnight dinner is no problem saved some from last night to take in I am so lucky I have so enjoyed finding all sorts of recipes and my husband and I discuss them and the ones that seem like a whirl I gather everything and we have fun making it together so hint hint any suggestions I am interested
I do need to venture into the other areas her on the team areas not to mention here on the sparkpeople in general lots of new things since I have returned however this time I feel more positive I hope I look at myself and I can not believe it. In years back I weighted 200 pounds finally got serious and got down to 135 but I was so not the person to be around so after some weight gain this time I want to have more fun with some friends to brighten up my steps as I go along and not to mention if I have a bad day where I want to dive into the plates I can stop by here before I dive in

We are here for ya! Y'all have joined us at the perfect time bc many of us are just now gettin' back on track! It was so strange, but all of us here became very ill mostly around the same time! (Starting in Dec.) I was ill with pneumonia and other things off/on until after February!

For our new friends: I'm about to turn 40, I have a 19-year-old son, a pet daughter (ZuZu ..Mini American Eskimo) and I have been married to my wonderful hubby for 20 years (as of June 18th) we have been a couple for 22 years!
I live in Jonesboro, AR.. Been here 3 years (relocated for hubby's job but they closed down), so we will be getting back home to Mesquite/Garland Texas (Dallas County - Born & Raised) in July! All our family is there as well. Hubby is on month 10 of unemployment!
He has been with World Color Printing for 21 years and this is his 2nd job-loss with them!
(The Dallas plant closed in "09" and that's why we moved to AR)

Well Stacy that would be hard working at Cracker Barrel with all that good food floating around all I can say is at a small hospital at nights if you did not bring it in you are at the mercy of other co-workers or gosh for bid the vending machines. I have done it many of times over the years and it is easier if you do not think about everything on the back of the package it goes down a whole lot better.
Tonight my husband had fixed chicken and rice and coleslaw and I found some cranberry sauce begging to join in. Not bad since sitting at work within inches of a bad of candy sat waiting for someone to enjoy. Here at my house I buy a candy bar my dog takes it out to the yard rips it open to enjoy shredding the paper and you look at it in the yard thinking well it really was looking much better earlier but thanks to my big boy I will throw it out and think twice the next time
By the way the breakfast sounds wonderful

Ahhh Thanks, So a quick story about myself. I am conected to the food industry as well Stacy. I work for US Foods in sales. I handle a pretty big territory in N.E. Ohio and spend alot of time in the car (what sales people call "windshield time"). I also spend alot of time in restaurants. I eat, breathe, and talk food from the time I get up to the time I go to bed. Food is constantly around me and having a sedentary lifestyle makes it that much more difficult. I am really working on packing healthy choices to take with me on the road. I have been exercising at least three days a week; usually cardio right now to get my heart rate up. I have also given up drinking right now as they are just empty calories and have taken there toll on my body. I know that the fatty liver, the high glucose and the high cholesterol all are tied in together. What do I need? Not sure about that one; everything you are doing right now is great. I just want sounding board or be there for someone else who is feeling frustrated. I'll be there to pull someone in the group up off of there bootstraps and would like the same in return. I know that I am fully commited this time and am ready to take on the daily challenges. I will update photos as I see progress and share my stories along the way.

P.S. I love the C.B. Love me a good fattening breakfast of bacon, eggs over easy (atleast 2 eggs), sausage gravy and biscuits, hashbrowns smothered with cheese, a big old cup of coffee and about 3 large glasses of ice water. LOL Stay focused Matt, stay focused!

It'll be a busy night for me!

It's Fish Fry Friday at the Cracker Barrel.. Really brings in the crowds!

I will take my healthy snacks to work again and only drink lemon water. emoticon

I'm so excited about my B-Day Gift! (May 28th * my 40th) Hubby & son couldn't stand it and told me they went in together and ordered me the Body Media Fit!! (they are running a special right now and you get a discount of $49!)

I cannot wait to get it and find out how many cals I burn at work and also with each Firm work out dvd..(12 different dvd's/routines)

It will be awesome to track everything in detail and know my exact calorie burn.

Even with daily things around the house I do.

Good Morning!

Woohoo! New teammates....Welcome!!!!

Got the morning walk in already, snuck in another afternoon one yesterday as well. I am still forging ahead with the "Skinny Mom" two week thing. I should get my "Spark Solution" book today.

I got a GymBoss interval timer yesterday that I ordered from Amazon a while back. I bought it so I remember not to sit too long in front of the computer without taking a break to walk around a bit. I figure I can also use it for doing some intervals during my walk (high intensity, low intensity).

Good morning team

It is nice and quiet at work to day since yesterday was a holiday many people took Friday of to have extra long weekend.
I was so tired all day yesterday!! We came home around 3 am Wednesday and then I woke up around 7 !! Did not need to do anything just woke up and could not go back to sleep instead I was tired all day.
We had lunch with my parents and then met friends for coffee so we where out from noon until dinner time. Had a good time but would have liked to have had more energy.

SKEETOR - it is so nice to see the new live starting in the spring.

Stacy - for me it works best to simply use the tracker on Sparkpeople to control what I eat!

hi I am Julie thank you for the invite to come and join. It is good to come and join with people helping each other to reach our goals. Goooooooood Mornin'!

Got my walk in again this morning! I guess the robin eggs are hatching. I saw one on the ground and thought maybe a black bird had gotten an egg. But later I saw a robin flying with a mouthful of worms so maybe the wind just blew the eggshell down after the little one crawled out. I hope so!

morning team

I enjoyed night our with husband a lot. We started the night at Italian restaurant and then went to the theater. The play we saw was really good, it is made from a book that almost everyone has read in Iceland (you read it at school) and the movie was really popular so doing something different with the story is challenging. They managed to do that really well and give you new side of the main character and his mental illness. The book is true story where the autour tells the story of his mentally ill brother so delicate to allow the actor/play writer to change it to be even more from the mentally ill brothers side (at one point in the play he stood screaming at his brother that it was his story not the brothers and he had no right to grow up to be some famous top selling writer living on his story!!).

After the play we had desert and wine at a café and then went to a bar that had salsa night and watched people dance did not participate but enjoyed sitting there talking and watching the dancers.

Thank you all for saying I am inspiration with my workout. Truth is it comes ease for me since I really love to exercise but eating right stuff is much more difficult for me and I admire people who can make the "right" eating choose again and again!!

SKEETOR - Good for you keeping up with your morning walk. You have to tell us if you like the spark solution book.

STARLIGHTSHADOW - I hope the clients wont fight this time. Enjoy the soup and bread and I hope you get down time on the trip to enjoy Zurich. I was there once as a child but cant say I remember it (was 4 ore 5 years old).

Stacy - Enjoy your day off. My gray hair started showing up around 30 years old so pretty sure I donīt want to try not to colour me hair regularly!! You should take picture of your new hair colour so we can see it I am sure you look very good with brown and caramel highlights. Not even 2 weeks until your family visits that time will fly in no time. Enjoy the movie with husband.

It's my last day off, so I have to rest and enjoy it!

I have been so busy with grocery shopping, cleaning and laundry the past couple of days.

I'll be doing my work out in a bit and then it is time to "wash that gray right out of my hair!"

emoticon Skeetor! You're doing so wonderful, you're my hero for the day. Feeling down has me reaching for the cookies, so I'm going to follow your example and put them down, right now.

Oooh, Bern is so nice! I'm going to Zurich. Won't get to see much of the country, because it's another airport-hotel-conference room trip. Just wish those particular clients would just get it together and start cooperating instead of fighting. Maybe if it takes longer I'll get a heli flight to St. Moritz and a very promising chalet out of it though- I've been to it before, and the flight there is one of the highlights of my business life. But even if we stay in Zurich, I'll have to escape from the hotel for one trip to my favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurant there. They have the BEST soups in the world, and serve bread and cheese with them. I'm still swooning over the bread here in Europe, don't know if I'll ever get over this infatuation, and theirs is among the highlights, freshly baked and rich and moist and fluffy. I THINK the restaurant's called Kasekeller, but I'm not sure since I stumbled upon it by accident last time I was in Zurich and went my own way instead of having yet another stuffy business lunch... It wasn't far from the market.

Hey, there!

Thanks for the encouragement, everyone! I have still not broken my morning walk routine. Nor have I messed up on my Skinny Mom program. I ordered the Spark Solution book and am waiting for that to arrive on my front stoop. They're doing a two week program starting on the 13th so I am thinking of cutting short the Skinny Mom program to start with everyone else on the Spark Solution program, but I haven't quite made up my mind yet.

Stacy: Good job! Can you come over and do my closet? I have to clean it out! I am SUCH a packrat.

MomtoAki: I have to agree with Star. You are a great inspiration. You deserve a rest though, so enjoy your time with your husband!

Star: You'll feel better once you get to Switzerland....so pretty! To what part of Switzerland are you travelling? I was in Bern once along time ago (1981, I think).

Hi team

I went to the gym and ran little over 6 km on the treadmill. Did the 5 km in 31 min and 40 sec (personal record) and then walked some and ran a little again until 40 min. Did not do much weight training but did some!

To day me and husband is going out for dinner and then to the theater and probably go to a bar after the theater. Daughters will stay with my parents for the night. Time to celebrate the end of the school year for him. Because of this I will not have time for my workout after work but I am ok with that.

Stacy -You can do it.

STARLIGHTSHADOW - I hope you enjoyed the Volleyball. I assume you are going on a business trip to Switzerland since you are not really looking forward to it. Try to enjoy the different cenery and some cheese :-)

Good morning team

Husband final exam later to day and in about 7.5 hours the semester is over :-)
I enjoyed my no workout day yesterday on the sofa with book (well after being the girlīs driver and cooking dinner). I have appointment at 4:30 to 5:30 to day which means I donīt have time for Zumba! I hope to go to the gym for running at the treadmill instead.

SKEETOR - Way to go keeping up with your morning walk. That work in the garden is also burning calories.

Stacy - It is alwaysīs so good to get extra space in the closet, you have to have space for the smaller sizes right :-)

Good Morning!

Went for my morning walk (3 days in a row...yay!) and then mowed the lawn. The tree man comes tomorrow and my husband has marked 4 trees for their death. They're huge tress (about 50ft tall) so we'll probably be broke but hopefully it will save us from any hurricane damage.....

I cleaned out my butterfly garden yesterday afternoon (it was terribly overgrown with weeds). Now I need to get some metal edging and some of that super-duper landscape fabric to keep the weeds away while we're gone. I used it in my herb garden last year and it is sooooo much better than the newspaper trick.

MomtoAki: That's great that you and your husband got to see your friend. I hope his operation goes well. I also hope your husband's exam goes well!

Good morning team

I enjoyed my weekend a lot. Nothing really planned so it was nice to just read and enjoy. Went to dance fit on Saturday and spinning on Sunday. Then daughters and I counted the plastic and glass soda/bear/wine bottle in the garage and turned them in (you get money for them). We have not done this in a long time and it took two trips too take them all in!! Know I can use the garage again!

Husband has exam at school tomorrow so he was studying over the weekend and is at home studying right know. It will be nice tomorrow evening to have this semester over. Husband friend came over and watched football game with him, this friend was recently diagnosed with cancer and it was good to get a change to see him before his operation on Wednesday.

Skeetor - emoticon with having your class over with. The emotional eating can be so difficult, you can do it. Donīt let all the stuff needing to be done before you leave stress you out. Enjoy your trip.

Happy Saturday! Not much new here..envious that your student loans are paid off!! I will be paying for a very, very long time since I got my masters degree. Oh well, hopefully it will pay off sometime!!!

Stacy, heading for Pigeon Forge tomorrow...too bad not closer to where you are!! So looking forward to getting away and relaxing. There was a concern with the cabin we rented so they have us a free upgrade to another cabin...wahoo!! It is much bigger!!

Then I HAVE to get on track and lose weight. Sad that I have regained my weight in the last six months. Too much happened and I totally got derailed. Oh well, it is what it is!!

Hope you'll get all the nice tables and great tippers at work tonight, Stacy! You're doing emoticon !

Today, I got my first weekly bank statement missing one deduction: My student loans are all paid off! I'm debt-free! emoticon

Of course that called for splurging on something exceptional, so I gave in to curiosity and bought a hideously expensive piece of smoked salmon at Caviar&Prunier, hailed the best in the world. Got capers, horseradish, toast, and a lemon from my own little lemon tree to go with it, so this is going to be tonight's dinner.

NO MORE STUDENT LOAN PAYMENTS!!! (at least until I decide to get another degree, because I'm somewhat of a collector when it comes to those...)

Day 1 went well! emoticon

Meals/Snacks were on target and I started the Firm again! emoticon

We were PACKED at work.. My goodness that was a BUSY Thursday. I was flying around the tables from 5PM until we closed..It never slowed down, so I know I burned a lot of cals at work too.

I guess the rain made everyone want to get out of the dreary house and go eat.?.

STILL Raining here and we are under flash flood warnings...

Hoping my Day 2 will go well today as well.

Hello, Everyone!

My class is FINALLY over! Yippee! I liked it and all but it took sooooo much time out of my week. Now I can concentrate on packing and losing all the flab I put on last month up in Ohio. I was really terrible with the emotional eating! (my biggest problem) The scale was very rotten to me this morning and I think I shall pack it away first!

There is so much to do before we leave! We need to have a tree cut down (before it decides to fall on our house) and I have to cover all my gardens with weed barrier, move some plants around to make it easier for our neighbor to cut the grass....but we did get the trim painted! --and packing and a million other odds and ends! I am fighting the urge to eat right now! Aghhh!

Star: Not a huge Ironman fan but I loved the other "new" Star Trek movie and am definitely looking forward to this one.

ChicoMom: I hope you enjoyed your workout!

MomtoAki: You are doing so fabulously well!

Stacy: Yay! You found your "on" switch...now I need to find mine!

Hi team

It is Friday again, since Wednesday was holiday it seams like we had two Fridayīs this week!! After work yesterday I watched dd11 school play and she did really well. Remembered all her lineīs and did what she was suppose to do. No gym time for me though.

After work the plan is to run on the treadmill for 30 min and do weight lifting. I have to do the weight lifting and promise not to sneak in to spinning instead emoticon

STARLIGHTSHADOW - Iron man is very much not my thing :-) But husband and daughters enjoy watching it and other superhero movies. Enjoy the picnic and dress warm if outside.

Stacy - Way to go getting your workout in and tracking calories, keep it up.

Mary - Eating out once in a while is ok, try to pick something healthy of the menu.

Grace - I hope your cough goes away soon. Enjoy your vacation.

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I have been mia...have done really nothing in my weight loss efforts since I got sick. Still have an irritating, nonproductive cough that won't go away...darn it. Good news is that I am officially on vacation...woohoo! So very much needed...two months of having 18 kids on my case load....leaving for Tennessee on Sunday for sevendays...don't go back until the 14th...I plan to get back on track with my diet and exercise then. Not going to worry about it til then...

Hi Everyone,

Been a non stop day for me. Didn't do too great yesterday as hubby and I went out for dinner cause I was just to tired to cook. ( Yesterday was equally crazy).

Weather is warm and sunny. Out expected high is 90.

Need to go fold clothes and then am going to make myself exercise even though I'm tired.

MomToAki, awesome job! Hope you're enjoying the performance. Bummer about spring... here, my bonsai sakura tree I keep in one of my windowboxes has finally decided to bloom, so a few friends of mine decided to do a Hanami picnic. Dreading the "picnic" part since it's rather cool for sitting outside, but maybe we'll picnic in someone's apartment ;)

Yep, I'm an Iron Man fangirl, have been for a long time (since the late 80s). The first time I got to see the third movie when an acquaintance of mine invited me to do a soundcheck for/with him. It was rather exhausting... but fun! Yesterday was purely watching for entertainment, and I loved it. I'm utterly squee-ing over all the superhero movies I'm getting to see this year, plus Star Trek Into Darkness next week. Benedict Cumberbatch's voice deserves an ode written to it...

Nope, I'm not a kid inside, not at all, never ever... SHINY COLLECTIBLE! *pounces*

Hi team

Enjoyed my time of work yesterday, reading a book in the morning, spinning class at noon (yes I know I planned to do a running but then it was a spinning class even though it was a holiday and I could not resist that!!) and then dd13 had a theater show we all enjoyed. Well I enjoyed watching her but have to admit that the other three play with other students I would have loved to used that time on the sofa with book!!

To day dd11 has a school play I will go to after work so will not be able to make it to my Zumba class!

Since the spring is letting us wait for it I counted the day until I leave on our vacation to Spain and there is excecly 6 weeks to day j emoticon , really looking forward to seeing the summer and had enough of the cold. My work friend was making fun of me on the way to lunch that maby I should conciter dressing warmer and stop complaining about the cold!!

it was nice to relax at home with a book after work yesterday but I also did little housework. I thing the muscular soreness is finally gone I have to watch out to not over do it since 5 day soreness after weight lifting is definetly too much!!
