For me, the longer i go without activity, the worse the flare. This time of year is good for me to get back into fitness as the daylight changes plus being more active around the house/gardens helps keep me moving throughout the week. I can slowly add in walks for 1-2 months, then ad in strength work slowly. but if i Stop, i regress quickly. Post-baby now, I will be needing to keep active as I'mback in the constantly moving- chasing phase. It's literally now or never for me.

Everything can be offered up as a sacrifice. All of this. It can, it will, in the long run benefit not only me, but my family as well. It's a worth-while sacrifice no matter how long it takes. I must look for His glory in all of this.

fully agree Karen. thats what i was saying. dont go till you are unable to do anything, but dont just sit around..push yourself a little..just not to breaking. you will feel better for it.

kind of like backs. they used to think with a back injury you should rest. now its the opposite. get moving. (of course you have to take it case by case and severity of injury)

A workout is not in my mirror but I encourage you all to do a work out if you are able. Moving seems to help my pain.

How long does it take you to recover after a workout with fibro? How long do you have to wait to workout again? Do you flare?

I usually have to wait at least one day between workouts. Sometimes I get mini flares the next day.
