I worked my way up to a 20-minute low-impact aerobics workout despite my fibro.

Thanks eveyone for the support. Sounds like we all have our challenges. DH is doing well since surgery but he is going crazy being cooped up in the house. I'm mentally exhausted from trying to stay on top of everything but going to keep going. Tomorrow I'm taking a girly day for my self after stress test maybe stop at a thrift store, craft store or both.

well you have good reasons!!
i had a knee replaced in 2013. I've always had Newfoundlands, and got a new pup in february, one month before the surgery. She helped me work hard..even with complications and the docs thinking i would never walk again i worked my tail off for her. And now, we walk. yes it hurts..both my knee and all my joints, but if i DONT do it i seize up. so i know its a good thing...

I'm so sorry for all your challenges. I would like to say, a dear friend of mine had colon cancer. it was advanced..he fought like the dickens and now, 8 years later, is still free of it. Keep the faith!!!

I can see I am really going to like this team! I even like the icon (?)picture. I guess I am an old-fashioned girl at heart recently purchased a watch (need to check out the name).

I am starting with a cheaper one to see if I am comfortable with it. Then I'll go to a FitBit! This one has all the gizmos. Walking, calories, steps, etc..

I have wt. To lose (30#) and, with that comes losing my shortness of breath. Son battling colon cancer, hubby has bowel problems and undergoing battery of tests. Add to that, a 12.7yr. Old Yorkie who is having aging issues!!!

I have been use to hubby helping care for me with my Fibro., CFS, HeridiaryNeurophapy, etc.. now, I have to get my health back, so I can help them!!!

Exercise has been missing in my world for sometime now. But decided this month was a good time to get back to it. DH just got out from having gallbladder surgery he was in hospital for almost a week. I learned a lot about myself while he was in there. The only person causing me not to get up stairs to exercise was me procrastinating about getting up there doing it. Grrrrrrrr!

7 minutes of exercise feels like an hour but it is what it is and I have to start from somewhere. At least that's what I'm telling myself. Does fibro like it,(not one bit) but for a brief moment the pain is less and I'm going to hold on to that as a reason to keep going and just do my best knowing each day will be different from the day before. Plus come next years Physical I'm determine to weight less than this year. One day at a time.

Can anyone relate?
